I killed this long green snake in front of my house. It was so silent, I wonder how long it was there before I noticed it. Thank God it was not a venomous one.

Since yesterday, na snake snake una just dey kill. Abi snake population duh pass Nigerians?

It seems we are in snake season because everybody is just killing snakes. I won't be surprised if guys are going to bush just to kill snakes, so they can trend because I have seen like 4 snake topic today.

Even if you held this particular species on the tail to kill it, the highest would been a bite but without venom secretion. This is a non venomous snake species.

This is like the 15th snake thread in 2 days. Everybody needs to be vigilant. Nigeria doesn’t have anti snake venoms in hospital so if you get bitten might likely not survive it

It's rainy season snakes are bound to come out of their holes or get killed by the flood.. Clear your grass, keep your area tidy and neat, poisonous or not snakes are dangerous.

Generally snakes don't attack humans first when they see them. They only attack when feel threatened. It's just a green house snake and non venomous.
