Besides, Northerners are unlikely to vote for an additional state for the SE. Their argument is that as the geographical area of the region is quite small, there is no justification for an additional state.

Honourable Ikenga who raised the motion for an Orlu state on the floor of the house was easier because the homogeneous people of ibos from neighbouring communities would be carved together into a single state. The opinion of Senator Ned on facebook was only building a castle in the air. Heterogeneous people of different ethnicities cannot be carved together and then pass them off as ibos under a SE state.

In Ibadan and Oyo as a whole,let’s then say Ibadan is a neutral village and not Yoruba because of a few people migrated there years ago

Ibadan had existed pre colonial times, with different people coexisting until military came and created a state out of it.

IF Obigbo/Oyigbo are homogeneous ibos and would want to join their kith and kins but Anioma is not homogeneous ibos, there are other ethnicities that comprises Anioma. Almost every tribe had been carved into another parts through fiats in the past but it is never going to happen anymore in a democracy.

Half of Akoko Ondo speak non Yoruba language that is Edoid in nature as their first language.
But Ondo is still SW and Yorubaland.
