The one that Peter Obi built that made him to have 95% of igbo vote is what.
So Igbos should have voted for Tinubu? How is that going for Nigeria? When Igbos voted for enmass for Obasanjo, was that ethnic politics as well?

O ye beaters of anyone who looked Igbo during the elections in Lagos state undecided

Did you see how much CBN was looting under Buhari who claimed to be fighting corruption? Wad your life this miserable under Jonathan?
Whatever you called this man, he was never found guilty of any corruption case, the whole world is embracing him today, he was not a religious bigot, after Jonathan, presidents started appointing themselves as minister, ministers and aides started stealing in trillions and prices started going up by x100%
Jonathan is the best President Nigeria has ever had considering that he controlled 70% of Yarad'ua's tenure as well
Oil was over $140 per barrel and production rose to over 2.7m barrels. Jonathan looted and mismanaged everything.

Today, Jonathan is the owner of Air peace airlines.

The defeat of Jonsthan still dey pepper ibos.
Not that they love him at all, they only thought they could use him to install their fellow biaflan as the president.
The same Ibos made Jonathan lose all the goodwill he enjoyed from all Nigerians in 2011.

Ibos ruined Jonathan government

Igbos are very patriotic and knows what is good for Nigeria, they travel around a lot and don't sit at one spot all their lives promoting tribalism

Tinubu does not need ibo votes.
Nobody needs Ibo votes to become president of Nigeria.

Goes to show that Igbos are the most rational voters in Africa. I mean, how can a normal humanbeing with normal sense see Obi, Atiku and Tinubu and decided to vote Tinubu if not that the person is a thief, criminal, a fraud, drug addicts and a human animal. Just look at people that drive his campaign and stole election for Tinubu (Asari, MC Oluomo and all agberos in SW), compare them with the people that support Obi. Igbo can mistakenly vote for a useless person just ones, just as any civilize society in developed world, but they dont vote for absolute proven useless person like Tinubu. Igbos are business men and vote for a candidate that will give them the environment for businesses to strive. Thats the main thing that drive their choice of candidacy and not based on religion or tribalism like other human animals tribe especailly the yoruba and hausa does.

Can you proof your point?

So SE voted brutally for that idiot called obi and you expect SW you are insulting their papa mama to vote for obi and abadon their own brother Tinubu ba? Then you are very sick.

So the North that voted for Tinubu too are tribal bigot ba? In your little brain how do you think the North will allow igbo man to rule over them? Are you insane? If even North will allow igbo man as president not obi type of igbo man. Let me clear your brain a bit North will rather prefer SS or SW as president than SE so get that fact.

So what is your nonsense talks are all about?

You want to rule Nigeria with nzogbu nzogbu politics ba? You wan rule Nigeria by bullying, abusive, insulting, disrespectful, cyber stalking, mockery, arrogancy, hatred etc ba? You dey craze. Mind you I'm not from SW so get that clear.

You claomed you are not Nigerians then what do you want Nigeria presidency for? Wait for biafra to come okwa ya? My people una go learn in hard way...
I don't think you have good sense of comprehension.

I wonder how and why they said Yorubas love education, maybe it was Yorubas of the past because most of you modern Yoruba youths lack wisdom and understanding.

In a country, the only person that have the power, will and mandate to build, develop or create a pathway for democracy in that country is the ruling President and the national Assembly or Parliament, not the opposition.

Opposition have no power or mandate or constitutional right to build a nation's democracy, they only try to use different tactics to dislodge the incumbent party or government.

Goodluck Jonathan is not talking about opposition here because they don't have any power or constitutional power to change anything, Goodluck is indirectly or directly talking to the incumbent President Tinubu who have continued on the wrong path Buhari followed by making Nigeria's democracy a winner takes it all which Goodluck also mentioned in his statement.

Tinubu just like Buhari took their emergence as President as a win for them and their tribe by appointing majority of their key office holders from their tribe.

But you that lack knowledge is here talking about Peter Obi that is not the President.

What Goodluck is saying is that, even if you win by any tactics, you have won, don't run a tribal government of appointing mostly your tribesmen as key office holders in your government, run an inclusive government that carry other tribes and parties along, that is what Goodluck is talking about, not about campaign period, you guys should try and get sense and stop embarrassing the families you represent online always

He is right, that is why we should all continue giving God the glory that most Nigerians came together as one to fight and conquer the "democracy built on ethnicity" plan of Obidients.

Just imagine what would have happened by now if that foul smelling Obidient plan egg hatched, I cannot even bear to think about it.

They have already done that and it would take the grace of God and the collective efforts of the Goodwill people to overcome that seeds sown. Our politicians and elders have already sown the seeds of ethnicity, sectionalism, religiosity in many minds and they are plenty on Nairaland and other platforms. Everything and anything now is seen on the prism of ethnicity and religiosity and we expect the country to move forward. It won't by that ideology.
The division is even worse by the emilokan mantra. That word alone is divisive and sectional.

It's not hatred my brother. They should allow another tribe to rule , abokis as president or vice is too much, that's why we are where we are.
The last election tinubu took aboki as vice, obi. Took aboki as vice, pdp had aboki as presidential candidate, why always Dem, akwa ibom, imo , Delta, Edo, anambra, ogun all states can't produce a good presidential candidate without abokis involved
They are the majority and politics is a game of number.

Their population will always speak for them in any political matter.

No one is pleased with this development sha, but this is the situation we find ourselves.

Ethnicity and religion is what is keeping Nigeria down. People vote not on the basis of competence but on the basis of religious beliefs and ethnic affiliation. Buhari and Tinubu rode to power on the combination of ethnic and religious sentiment of the people. In the South West he told them "Emilokan" and the people were brainwashed. In the North he told them to vote "Muslim -Muslim " and those people were brainwashed and manipulated. Nigerian people are too deaf to hear the truth and too blind to see what is
coming but thank God for those of us who kept telling them, that just as Buhari, Tinubu's regime would be an impeding disaster. Even when they confirmed how previous predictions that Buhari would fail woefully, the disease of ethnicity and religion wouldn't allow the Nigerian voters think clearly and put the interest of the nation about narrow parochial interest. They conspired with th3 dame ethnicity and religion to remove GEJ because they wanted to teach a wiser set of Nigerians political lesson in 2015. The chicken has come home to roost for Nigerians,,. Make una suffer the consequences of voting incompetence and expecting it to perform magic.

As if Jonathan himself is not guilty of what he is speaking against. Many filthy fingers are usually pointed towards Yorubas by idiots but they find it difficult to do background check. Notwithstanding the fact that Jonathan won 5 out of 6 SW states in the 2011, his appointments favoured more of the SE people. I could remember Yorubas were also complaining then.

And as far as the election that brought in Tinubu is concerned, google the results and do a proper analysis. If you are being sincere with your analysis, you will realise that Yoruba votes wasn't based on tribal sentiment. I didn't vote. My wife voted for Peter Obi and many Yorubas can stand tall and and say it that they voted for Peter Obi. I would have actually also voted for Peter Obi then if I had voted.

If you look at the results of the 2023 election critically, you don't need anybody to tell you that Tinubu won with votes cast for him outside the SW. The votes he got in SW is not even enough to win. However Obi won 95% of votes cast in SE while Tinubu hardly got 55% percent of the total votes in SW. He even lost Lagos, his base. Peter Obi didn't do his assignments. If not, Rivers, Benue etc should not have been worn by APC but you are spewing rubbish. You better go and wash the myopia on eyes away with hypo.
pls get a life. How many states did OBJ win in the east?....didnt he bring in Igbos to his cabinet?. Bloody hypocrites. It is not about winning elections, it is about after winning elections....a true leader must learn to accept all as his whether he was voted for or not. That's d Nigerian spirite, unfortunately it does with GEJ. Buhari and ur Tinubu destroyed d only thing keeping us alive
