Well, ever since the hardship in Nigeria becomes unbearable and I find it hard to feed my family, I have resulted to become a critic of any politician in Nigeria. So I decided to run a plagiarism check on Tinubu"s democracy day speech which I copied via Business day website https://businessday.ng/opinion/article/full-text-of-president-bola-tinubus-democracy-day-speech-june-12-2024/

I was dissapointed I couldnt pinch any critic on the speech as it turns out to be 0% A.I generated and 1% plagiarism which was index from Punch newspaper.

Here is the result;

The 'journey' you went on is what wise men term "an excercise in futility ".

It only confirmed Tinubu is genuine and means what he says from the heart even if you and many want to believe otherwise.

The suffering Nigerians are encountering today is real and painful but not a development the President enjoys or is insensitive to.

Yet he is steadfast in the belief that seeing certain reforms to their conclusion will vastly improve the lives and future of Nigerians and generations unborn immeasurably.

Let us forget all the complexity of subsidy removal (fuel, electricity etal) , Naira floatation etc that average Nigerians don't understand let alone be able to factor into their outlook about what Mr.President is seeking to achieve.

The biggest challenge of Nigeria is ushering in reforms, difficult to bear initially, that will defeat generational poverty that makes almost everyone and everything in Nigeria, from individuals to essential government parastatals, substandard and unable to perform optimally.

This painful but badly needed reforms conundrum, that previous Presidents have lacked the bravery to initiate and stick with to conclusion, is what has perennially condemned Nigeria and Nigerians to an unending cycle of crude and basic struggle to survive, essentially to eat and reproduce, instead of really living, thriving and getting the best out of every facet of life be it manufacturing, Science research and technology, civil and built-environment engineering etc, etc.

We have wasted more than six decades, since independence in 1960 trying to conquer developmental basics, like food security, local optimal refining of our crude power supply etal, while others are sending folks to the moon on tourist expeditions.


Is it not now clear thaf short term sacrifice from us all, within one to two years, may be well worth it if Nigeria kicks on to be an optimal developer of man and the society he lives in?

We all know the pain and suffering chemotherapy can cause for cancer patient. Reject that pain and die with many dreams and aspirations unfulfilled - especially if young and just starting out.

Would we all not encourage a loved one to bear the pain of Cancer, with focus on surviving and beating it, because of the expectation that a beautiful, fulfilled and happy life beckons after the pains and misery of defeating cancer?
