COMRADES, ćigarette smoking, ĥemp smoking and çocain sniffing are dangerous to our health, if this Australian method is introduced in Nigeria, do you think it will eradicate, reduce or discourage smoking? Why do you think smokers smoke at all? Or what is the best way to regulate smoking in Nigeria

Do you give up smoking a pack of cigarettes to get these food items free ?

So you're saying one pack of cigarettes can get you these in an Australian grocery shop.

If yes , what then is the Australian method you are talking about and asking if we should adopt ?

Instead of always arresting and harassing these smokers in our streets by the various Nigerian law enforcement agencies, why can't we adopt this method? Just regulate the behaviour by imposing a huge taxation on the manufacturers of these substances, that is all

This is simply telling you that a pack of cigarettes over there is way more expensive and cost an arm.

In other to discourage smoking, they inflated the price so much so, that the amount of money spent on smoking is equivalent to stocking ones house with this amount of groceries.

Whatever you call it, no problem, as long as it is smoking let it be regulated by this means. Not all the time chasing smokers in the streets by the police, NDLEA etc, this method is becoming obsolete

Ask those who know me in person whether I smoke or I even drink alcohol
If I smoke, then why should I advocate for the ban or stiff regulation of smoking in Nigeria?

When the government refers to smoking the mean cigarettes not weed. Cigarettes aren't banned in Nigeria, No one gets prosecuted for smoking cigarettes in Nigeria, except maybe in banned areas.

Weed is illegal, cigarettes are not. Stop the mixup

We still need the Aus solution regardless

People don’t smoke as much today as they did in the 90s. I can’t remember seeing anyone smoke for the past ten years if not longer.
