*Warns, won’t accept any doctored report

Organised Labour has rejected President Bola Tinubu’s claims that an agreement has been reached on new national minimum wages in his nationwide broadcast to make Democracy Day.

According to Organized Labour at the time negotiations ended on Friday, June 7, there was no agreement reached by the Tripartite Committee on the National Minimum Wage.

Rather, two figures such as N250,000 from Organised Labour and N62,000 from government and Organised Private Sector, OPS were arrived at and ought to have been submitted to the President.

In a statement by the Acting President of Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Prince Adewale Adeyanju, Labour noted that anything to the contrary was not only doctored but won’t be accepted by Labour.

Without reaching an agreement with Labour, they hurriedly gave him a prepared speech to read and the idiotic president himself didn't care to ask his handlers pertinent questions concerning the minimum wage debacle.

Here we go again, as usual. But why is Tinubu like this nah. No wonder he did not even mentioned any figure.

The truth of the matter is that the leadership of the labor union can not do anything more than they have done as religious and tribal sentiments are gradualing crawling into the struggle. I have seen educated and elderly muslim men here in Ibadan claiming that the strike of last week was targeted at Muslims who are preparing for sallah while others believe that the union leaders are trying to frustrate tinubu because he is a Yoruba man. These are hungry people like everyone of us o, not those benefiting anything from the government
