We scored 39 more goals than the previous season. But conceded 19 goals more that the previous season.

Even my 9 year old daughter who knows nada about football will tell you which department needs more urgent attention.

We conceded 47 goals and finished 12th in the previous season. Imagine where we would have ended up in the table if our attack didn't score 77 goals last season. Imagine if we conceded 63 goals and score a paltry 38 goals of the previous season.... Is it not relegation? But agenda will not allow you to agree that defence was our major problem last season.

Thank God the board is not thinking like you.

Duran played in MLS soon as he turned 18 and delivered a goal every 170 mins. He transferred to Villa immediately after he turned 19 and has delivered a goal every 138 minutes there, and a goal every 90 mins in EPL, no penalties

Nothing screams poor output on his record, his record is simply untested and you have to go with eye test, and he is looking OK on my eye test
