gidgiddy:This OP is a known tribalist and a liar....So I am only responding to his lies for historical purposes and because of kids on the Internet who might not have been born at the time of the June 12 events occurred. During the June 12 elections the Ibos voted enmass for Bashir Tofa of the NRC. Abiola only won in Anambra state. During the June 12 crisis and it's aftermath Ibos left the South West enmass because of the propaganda and lies of the goebbellian Ibo minister of information named Uche Chukwumerije. This cursed and devilish man used his position and propaganda to drum up tension, fear and hatred through the NTA and FRCN and claimed Abiola was a CIA agent who was going to invade Nigeria with American soldiers. This propaganda caused panic among Ibos who fled in droves back to the East to escape this fake/imaginary war. It is pertinent to note that those Ibos that remained in the west were not attacked. Those who lost their lives fleeing in motor accidents on the way back to the east should blame their deaths on the squealer Uche Chukwumerije. It is pertinent to also note the roles played by Ibos like Arthur Nzeribe(of accursed ABN fame) who procured a midnight court judgement against the June 12 elections being completely announced and thus aided Babangida to scuttle the election and prolong military rule. Another Ibo who aided the scuttling of the June 12 election was one Daniel Kanu of a surreptitious group called Youths earnestly ask for Abacha(YEAA).This was an evil group that openly opposed the June 12 election and asked Abacha to transmute from a military dictator to a civilians dictator. Another Ibo who shamelessly defended the annulment of the June 12 election was Odumegwu Ojukwu, who was sponsored by Babangida and Abacha to go on CNN and the BBC to defend and justify the annulment of the June 12 elections. The Ibo political leadership playe prominent roles in the annulment and truncation of June 12 election won by Chief Abiola. If any Ibo died in the aftermath of the annulment of the election, they died in motor accidents while fleeing to the East due to the evil and wicked roles played by their evil leaders like Nzeribe,Kanu,Ojukwu and the lies and propaganda of the sadistic and evil Uche Chukwumerije! |

You don't need to tell lies and propaganda like your evil forebear Uche Chukwumerije...... All those articles you posted do not disprove my points that Ibos that lost their lives during the aftermath of June 12 annulment, lost their lives in vehicular accidents while fleeing to the East due to the lies and propaganda exhibited by Uche Chukwumerije-may he burn in hell forever. Amen. |

The National Republican Party, which according to unofficial but widely accepted figures was defeated in the vote, is divided. Its national publicity secretary, Doyin Okupe, resigned today, saying it was shameful that some party members saw the crisis as an opportunity to win the presidency. Across the city, major markets, shops, banks and businesses were shuttered, but for the second day, looters broke into dozens of stores. Protesters built barricades of buses, cars and tires on all major streets, highways and bridges and set them on fire to block movement from Lagos's three main residential islands to the mainland commercial district. This is a post from New York times on the event. OP was right. Yoruba hoodlums attacked and looted Igbo shops, many Igbos closed shops and ram back to the east out of fear for their lives. |
| Re: June 12th Holds No Good Memories For Us Igbos by pazienza(m): 2:31am On Jun 13, 2024 |
You saw what Yoruba hoodlums did to Igbo voters in Lagos in the last presidential election. It's the replica of what happened in "Oso Abiola". As usual they left their Northern partners and started accusing Igbos of playing a role in Abiola loss for supporting Tofa. They didn't have the balls to attack Northerners, instead they started breaking into major markets in Lagos mostly controlled by Igbos, breaking into locked shops and looting many Igbo business men into bankruptcy. |

pazienza:We also saw what ibos did to people in the east in the last election. The shooting and the beatings of anyone not voting Peter Obi. 🤷🏾♂️ The lies that you IPOB members tell yourself. ![]() Actually, after all the ibos had hurried back to their SE region with their tails in between their legs, it was the northerners that had their kiosk/shops chattered and used for bonfires. But guess the ones acting like the victim as usual - The Ibos. |

Of course June 12 does not hold good memories for you guys following the treacherous role played by the Ibos all because they could not stand the thought of a Yoruba man becoming President just as they refuse to accept the outcome of the 2023 elections because it not only saw to a Yoruba man becoming President but saw to their tribal agenda being rejected. Gidgiddy, you know you are full of shit and half truths and can only decieve your fellow IPOB rats . Here is a summary of the pic of the one page OP-ED taken out by the notorious Arthur Nzeribe on several national dailies a few months before the elections in 1993 after it became clear that MKO was the favourite to win and emerge as the democratically elected civilian President. Instead of the likes of Nzeribe to challenge Abiola at the polls, Nzeribe went to work as a spoiler.

Causing disaffection for the Yorubas, who they despise and envy deeply, is what most Igbos live for like the OP who is an especially toxic and bigoted hater plus shameless liar and hypocrite. It is never hard to dismiss their lies, repellent revisionism and propaganda because they can never deliver either believably or intelligently. Established facts and reality matters nought to an Igbo man when demonizing others is on his menu. Imagine claiming Buhari was dead and had been replaced by a Jibrin from Sudan to then be using asinine palm print, earlobe , cheekbone “differences” etal as validation of their ludicrous tale. Anyone who has time should investigate the many scholarly articles written about how Igbos elevated lies and propaganda to an art form during the civil war just to make other Nigerians, especially Yorubas and Northerners, appear genocidal and bloodthirsty monsters in the eyes and opinion of the world. The irony is that most of the articles were written by non-Nigerian indicating that all and sundry are aware of the Igbos penchant for lies and propaganda. In fact most Igbos begin despising the Yorubas from the womb when their mothers and fathers began telling them night time stories consisting of wholesale “they killed and attacked us” lies, as OP and his rabidly hateful gangs are doing, just to make their own offspring hate Yoruba folks who, of all Nigerians, have been kindest and most supportive of them. Imagine the twisted nature of minds hating Yorubas to the extent they do not mind damaging their own child’s mentality, psyche and life’s view with evil indoctrination and falsely fundamentalist incitement against others. What always beggars beliefs is the fact Igbos don’t ever have shame that their lies are so starkly at odds with reality and would make non-Nigerian and neutral observers view them Psychotic lunatics. Imagine a Ghanaian visiting Nigeria for the first time and basing his opinion on “Yorubas envy, kill, loot and attack” us brainwashing Igbos in Ghana have filled his head with. Would he not be shocked, with all goodwill for Igbos lost, to discover that Igbos live in the Yoruba region, which is that of their acclaimed “deadly enemies”, in far larger numbers than any other region of Nigeria? Add to that the fact the Ghanaian visitors find Igbos well-accommodated, opportuned and thriving in the SW !!! Dumbfounded and shocked would be gross underestimation of what he would be feeling!!!!! Yorubas, for their own well-being, really need to start learning to put healthy distance between themselves and Igbos. |

God1blessBiafra:I only blame the Yorubas for allowing you to settle and recover in their lands after the civil war. The north was a no-go area and the SS held deep hatred for you guys following the atrocities committed against them during the brief occupation of their lands by your rogue Biafra. If the SW had gone the way of the rest of Nigeria and showed you the same hostility that other parts of Nigeria displayed towards you immediately after the civil war, would you be where you are today? Your case reminds me of a Nazi Germany folklore about a girl who found a snake half dead in the snow. The girl had pity for it and took it home and nurtured it by the fireplace and brought it back to life. The girl took good care of the snake for several days by feeding it until one particular day, the snake bit her. The girl in severe pains and dying, turned to the snake and asked "why did you bite me after all I did for you ?" To which the snake replied "I am a snake and I can't help myself but strike". The proverbial tale was a parody about the Jewish population whom Germans had taken in following several expulsions across Europe only for them to betray Germany and Germans in WW1 and at the Treaty of Versailles which will then see to the dystopian Weimar Republic that was overseen by Jews. I have since found out that no matter what you do for Ibos, they will eventual come to resent you and see your goodwill as acts of weakness. Tinubu is a prime victim example of this Ibo snake response. No other Governor has done so much for outsiders and Ibos especially like Tinubu. Tinubu appointed many Ibos into his cabinet and gave them appointments and employment into Lagos state civil service. Rather than see Tinubu's gesture as a goodwill , you Ibos saw it as weakness and went on to see Lagos as your joint ownership with Yorubas which you now falsely claim is now exclusively yours due to your lies of developing and owning most properties there. Seun of NL is another naive victim of Ibo wickedness towards those who go all out to accommodate and bend for you Ibos. Wole Soyinka is also suffering from the Ibo snake bite. As I said earlier, the Yoruba only have themselves to blame for accommodating and nurturing you snakes back on your feet. |

confusedlady:Gidgiddy is full of shit and lies. He can however lie to his fellow Ibos who have been raised on lies and hate fed them by their war generation who continue to pass the innocent victim baton. The reason we have idiots like Kanu and his crass supporters like Gidgiddy having the guts to spew lies today and to even dare another useless Biafra and Ibo expansionism is because of Gowon's postwar policy to have the Ibo reintegrated back to Nigeria at the expense of setting the facts on the cause of the civil war into writing. Normally, many Ibo officers, politicians and civilians who survived that war ought to have been arrested and tried in court for their war crimes against the SS people but Gowon's blanket amnesty to biafran war criminals and a pact he took with his fellow war cabinet and officers not to revisit the war , created a scenario where the vanquished were the ones to dominate the postwar narrative. This is why when it comes to the civil war , you will find that Ibo authors sympathetic to their rogue Biafra and pre civil war ethnic agenda, came to dominate the post war narrative with the goal of painting the Ibos as hapless victims of gang up by other nationals in Nigeria who were jealous of their success in Nigeria. This is of course a ridiculous lie. The Ibo revisionists also took a blind eye of all atrocities committed by Ibos especially that towards the so-called minorities in present day SS. This has led to the victim complex which when introduced to the new generation of Ibos fuels hatred towards other nationals and Nigeria as a whole. There is a saying that states that "those who make you believe absurdities will convince you to carry out atrocities". The devil only succeeds in his temptation on man by lying to him. This is a summary of Ibo propaganda and it is based on Ibo lies and half truths . |

By the way, no Igbo habour any hate for Yorubas. It has always been the other way round. Ndiigbo don't see Yorubas as our issue, we just don't want to share a country with you guys as we genuinely believe our dreams and aspirations are not compatible with that of you guys. Ndiigbo voted in Obasanjo in mass in 1999 and 2003, we will always support any candidate who we think is competent irrespective of their ethnicity. If we rejected Tinubu, it's because we can see his antecedents and know that he is bad news for the economy. Being a business minded people, we know a leadership capable of delivering when we see one. Just as we rejected Buhari totally, so did we reject Tinubu totally, not because we hate Yorubas as Yoruba bigots claim, or because we hated Fulani, because if these accusations were true then we wouldn't have voted OBJ and Yaradua/Atiku both of who are Yorubas and Fulanis! We rejected Buhari and Tinubu because we see that they have nothing positive to offer the country and our judgement and predictions on the two have been proven right so far. |

Ibos that died during the June 12 aftermath died because of the evil minister for information called Uche Chukwumerije. This man deployed the machinery of the government paraphernalia like NTA and FRCN to spread falsehood and propaganda that Abiola was a CIA agent and was going to bring in American soldiers to attack Nigerians. This led Ibos fleeing from all over Nigeria back to the East. In the course of fleeing many of them were killed in road accidents and died. Their blood is on Uche Chukwumerijes head. May he rot in hell for eternity for this evil.. Never quote any silly papers or articles at me. I was alive during the June 12 era. I witnessed these events and was an active participant. |

ShinnBet:You are very correct. Yakubu Gowon was a humane and nationalist who wanted to reunite his country after a 30 month civil war. His "no victor and no vanquished",mantra was nationalist and reconciliation in nature. He seriously polarised his government and alienated field soldiers like Murtala Muhammad, TY Danjuma and Benjamin Adekunle in the process who felt the Ibos needed to be seriously punished for their treachery and treason. Gowon underestimated the mind set of the Ibos and even rewarded them with money for their treason when they should have been put on trial and jailed. Gowon treated the Ibo with kid gloves and this enabled their intelligentsia to put out many fake and false accounts about the Nigeria/Biafra civil war. Their agenda ever since has been to raise a new younger generation of Ibos on an agenda of hatred, propaganda and lies. The end aim is to DOMINATE all other tribes around them. The Ibo agenda is no different from the Nazi German agenda before the 2nd world war and that is to conquer and dominate every tribe/nation around them through any means necessary.... On a lighter mood, there is a book written by one Biafra "Colonel " Joe Achuzia, titled A narrative guide to a combative soldier. It makes for interesting reading and is quite amusing but it tells the Biafra/Ibo agenda post civil war which is to dominate through lies, propaganda and half truths.... |
