Fluffy but ultimately meaningless statements.

We all know how to lie now. Is it today we're learning other people can lie and try to be clever at it.

Even on the surface, the statement is pointless. Why are you distributing money to every man woman and child and elderly. To achieve what? Did they tell you that they don't know how to work to generate income?
Did they tell you that's how they think economies should work.
Will you collect tax from them after giving them 2500 each?
Meaninglessness upon Meaninglessness.

If you dig into it even more, it'll be even more meaningless.

For him to mention that, he took time to think about what fluffy statement he can make to fake the appearance of wisdom, well before that appearance. Rubbishness upon Rubbishness

Gov Soludo is not saying the truth. How is it possible that both FAAC and revenue from the state will only earn each individual in Anambra state 2,500 naira. Mind you, the monthly FAAC runs into billions of naira.
These government officials take us for a fool.

The Governor of Anambra State, Chukwuma Soludo, says if all Anambra earnings are shared individually with the residents of the state, nobody will get up to N2,500.

Hehe......A whole Anambra state?

This man is so brutally frank although I have always known that he will struggle as a state Governor if he approaches his role with his previous experience and mindset of a CBN Governor who has access to endless flow of cash in the vault.

Gov. Soludo has broken the table once again. Check my signature for free stuffs!

This is the analysis I have always shared with many people but they seem not to understand. Many Nigerians are not analytical to realize we are a very poor country that needs all the help and support we can get. Thank you Soludo for bringing this to light. I am tired of sounding like a broken record

If you want to hide an information from agbado clowns, put it in writing ..

Here is what Soludo said...

Sometimes, I just wish that I can give every resident of Anambra maybe a million naira each to ameliorate the hardship that we have, but the reality is that if we get our entire revenue in a month, both from FAAC and from our IGR and put it on the table, call all our estimated 8.5 million residents and share it, nobody will get up to N2,500

He's not taking about workers which is where you are driving to, he's lamenting about the economic hardship Tinubu subjected Nigerians to .

Now, how much would Osun people which is your state of Origin get if you share your IGR to entire Osun citizens?

Continue modifying your initial comment
Can you just reason with your head for a minute. If anything the revenue of Anamabra just recently increased and even at that, the revenue per head is still at 2,500 naira. Let us all grow up beyond politics and understand our challenges as a nation. We are technically a very poor nation.

So 8.5m people live in Anambara while official figure puts it at 4.5m to 5m Anambrarians. So are the 8.5m people govt workers??
So who has been in charge of Naija economy in thd last 9 yrs.. APC/Tinubu
That's why I am against NLC on this. They focus on the government workers who are just less than 1% of the workforce.

What happens to the private sectors and the jobless. How will they be taken care of, considering that as soon as the salary is increased, the market will react.
How do you expect the man that runs a small shop or supermarket to pay 250k minimum wage without sacking everyone.
How do you expect fa Tory workers and construction workers to be paid 250k min without inflating the end products of their business.
Unfortunately the people labour is fighting for are the laziest set of workers in Nigeria.
They want the Treasury to be empty for them as if Nigerian revenue belongs to them alone.
The Treasury is for all, inclusive students, jobless, infants and the less privileged

I listened to the man. He spoke with extreme wisdom, cos he was asked to talk about minimum wage when this statement was made.

This remark was to buttress his point that we are a poor nation. He based his data on revenue and population.

Let all this tribal and political attacks be stopped. We need to think of solutions not jabs that will not help anyone.

When Nigeria returned to civilian rule in 1999, one of those elected into Nigeria's Senate was a retired Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG.

He stated in an interview that sitting with him in the Senate of Nigeria are people he had investigated and locked up for various criminal offenses when he was in service.

In his assertion, some of them were rogues who are unfit for decent societies, let alone in leadership positions.

He was suspended.

He was suspended for bringing the Senate to "disrepute."

Citizens did not protest.

After spending months at home without salaries and allowances, he had to apologize to the Senate and promise to be of good behaviour.

That was in 1999.

In 2016, a member of the House of Representatives raised the alarm that the nation's budget was padded.

"Padded" is euphemism for unlawful, criminal tampering and inflating of budget.

He went from the Police to the DSS. He went from radio stations to television houses. With proofs.

No security agency acted or gave him attention.

He was alone.

He was also suspended.

Buhari who was still wearing the borrowed robe of a saint pretended to see and hear nothing.

Citizens did not protest.

In 2024, a Senator raised an alarm that there was no explanations for over three trillion naira inserted into the budget.

3 trillion!

No investigation, no questions, no explanations.

The Senate has suspended that Senator.

Tomorrow, someone will declare that Nigeria's problem is spiritual.

And senseless people will still give that person attention.

It is possible God looks at some people as idiots when they stand in prayers for Nigeria.

Nigeria's problem is not spiritual. Never has been.

Nigeria's undoing is being ruled by distinguished criminals.

We are our problem(WAOP).

If Nigeria is that poor like he painted can somebody ask Soludo what is his take home pay, security vote and other monies conered by him and his likes

Why is it that whenever they talk about sacrificing for the nation it must always be the common man?
Re: If We Share Anambra Monthly Revenues Nobody Will Get Up To ₦‎2,500 – Soludo by safetyInspector(m):
He is actually talking about your Tinubu economy not Obi or Anambra. Let me break it down to your Tinubu Lagos, if you distribute Lagos Revenue to the 25million Lagos population as we were told 25million, do you think that each person can get 2,500k? 25million multiply by 2,500k is 62billion Naira, now is Lagos generating up to 62billion Naira monthly?

Olodo why are you like this, it's common sense divide the states budget by the total population. That is the easy way or you can get their FAAC revenue plus their IGR and divide it by the total population of the state.
