does a lawyer have the powers to ask police to arrest anybody and keep the person in detention as long as the lawyer wants the person to be in detention?

why should she apologize?
her lawyer is trying to sabotage her case.
get another lawyer ASAP, to bail u and continue the case.
if your former lawyer wants to sue you for taking picture, let her do so.
she has no right to keep you in detention beyond 24hrs

The lawyer works for the state. One of their responsibilities is to foster peace and settle parties. Even judges do that suo motu depending on the case. From the article it's not hard to see who the wahala came from in the marriage.

That was exactly what she wanted to do.
She want an evidence to present to the DPP to convince him to give her another lawyer.
I want to believe that the lawyer is truly compromised.

If you are my lawyer, you keep telling me the my case will not hold, I get angry about it, the next thing u do is to leave and start having hearty discussion with my opponent, then u are compromised.
As my dedicated lawyer, you need to calm me down and assure me that all will go well and not to abandon me.

Do we remember the case we read last week about a female lawyer that helped her client (a wife) secure divorce judgment against her husband.
The lawyer turned around to marry that her client's husband that she helped the wife to divorced.
