Premium tier storytelling from HBO. I still wonder why I was hesitating all these years it's been in my radar.

I'd say it's an underrated HBO top show. Not much talked about like the rest but it can very much hold its own against them biggies. The storytelling is just so breathtaking, and on point. You question yourself what's real or not. Is it supernatural occurrence or just some plain old coincidence.

I hate to say it and I was really excited for this show tbh but it lowered the bar for me. THE MESSAGE is heavy on this one!
The political message has always been subtle throughout the boys but this time they've picked a side - THE LEFT. They've made right wing people look like they're all dumb conspiracy theorists looking for meaning in their life.
How the hell did they make Frenchie gay all of a sudden. Even his storyline is so dumb like they included it wayyyyy after they've written the script already- it was like the studio just said since Queen Maeve is no longer in the script we need to dump a gay character in the script and they just decided to make it Frenchie is just ludicrous at this point.
The Boys is just leaning into shock value and not story anymore because they've run out of ideas. 🤦🏽‍♂️ Dialogue is just not great anymore - they're trying to dig into an almost rotten pile ideas and increase shock value that'll make rounds on the internet

If you're homophobic - stay away from the Boys because I heard it'll get worse. I'm not homophobic so I'll keep on watching?

Same summation the first 3 episodes were very underwhelming not gonna lie. The writing is obviously declining and its sad to see. That Frenchie shit came out of no where. Even the shock value self is losing its value because we have seen it all before it doesn't have the same effect. Really hope future episodes gets better.

Boss, you have summed it all up.

A show that will keep you at their edge of your seat, is now completely different from what we once loved.

It's like the same Name but a completely and different show entirely.

Watching the show now is...just to fulfill all righteousness, nothing entertaining anymore.

Not at all. This season has been super woke.

For those who might not understand the politics of The Boys TV show, let's review some trivia.

1. From the comics and the beginning, The Boys show has always been political.

2. The Boys show has always criticized/lampooned both the left and the right (liberal and conservative). It is just that the right (Conservatives) has just been too easy to ridicule with their Trump Savior nonsense, hyper-religiousity and excessive capitalism.

3. Continuing from point 2, many fans have been laughing at the right wing (Conservative) fans that are just realising that The Boys show is political. They are just realising that they are the very thing that the show is ridiculing.

4. While I agree that Frenchie's gay love interest (Colin) was shoehorned/forced into the new season 4, there has always been a gay character in the Boys. Maeve is gay. Furthermore, Frenchie was shown to be sexualy deviant and open. It was hinted that Frenchie had a domina in the previous season.

5. For those complaining about the shock value and gay sex of this season, did you forget that the seasons before, there was herogasm (a devaint sexual orgy), a gay pastor and also, an antman-like hero who shrunk into another male hero's p4nis to massage it. This season is quite tame compared to others.


The typical Nigerian is raised to be a default strong Conservative. This colours the lens of which they use to view The Boys TV show.

Why is this such a deal breaker tho, when there is a whole nvgga replicating himself eating his own back side! in one of the released episodes? If for anything, that should be more annoying. The show has shown times again that they can go to any extreme and i have come to expect it.
