I just had one today in the United States.
Appeared as though Life was being snuffed out of me. Initially, It was crazy Bro but started having fun when the parachute was opened.

Ebonyi can do that to attract tourists.
I trust Calabar, Akwa-Ibom on this.

David umahi is an abakaliki man for a reason.
If he had used that amount to empower agriculture and mining which happens to be the main advantages of Ebonyi State .
It would have helped Ebonyi and southeast.
It takes a wicked man to make it to Abuja.

An airport in Ebonyi state is an economic liability as the inhabitants of the state are poor civil servants and peasant farmers that can barely survive let alone fly and given that Akanu Ibiam Airport Enugu is just about 1 hour drive from the state.

This variegated colour of a white-elephant wastage is the classical and sensational epitome of the failure of Dave Umahi as an overhyped governor but as par chronic asslicker he was given another appointment as reward for failure.

He could have invested that money judiciously on agriculture . Ebonyi people are not as rich as anambra and imo people. They have arable land. That is a misplaced priority. Most hawkers in Nigeria are from ebonyi. By now ebonyi could have become food hub in southern Nigeria. They farm too.

Governors in Nigeria typically have absolute power and treat States and the resources like their personal properties. Democracy at the State level stops when a Governor gets elected and assumes office. The House of Assembly that is meant to represent the people are nothing but lackeys to the Governor.

It’s 3 years today that Muhammad Buhari commissioned the Rainbow Airport built by David Umahi in Ebonyi, South East Nigeria and no single plane has landed in Ebonyi after three years of wasting millions of Naira despite the level of poverty and infrastructural deficit in Ebonyi state.

When we say that these governors are wicked and selfish some praise singers will come to attack us.

I have wondered what Ebonyi is doing with an airport when Enugu airport is 30 minutes away from Abakiliki.

I remembered when Buhari said that Nigerian governors reason for embarking on irrelevant capital projects has always been to steal public fund.

David Imahi should be questioned for this reckless decision.
