Honestly, it's not much coupled with the current state of this economy.. 250k momthly is just 12k5 daily pay (mon-fri) full month. Then do the math hourly, you'll know it still in the manageable margin |

![]() Everybody knows that the FG won't pay the 250k, but at least they should pay something reasonable starting from 100k as minimum wage.. If the politicians in government can reduce the bogus of unnecessary money they spend, they would definitely meet up with the 100k, Nigeria has money, the loot that was stolen alone is enough to feed 10million people for 10years.. Government needs to take responsibility and take care of the civil servant, as they have been taken care of themsleves even before leaving office... |

Labour and TUC should keep pressing government neck. Make they pay the 250k minimum wage or make a drastic cut on the humongous monthly take home pay. On the other hand, if this minimum wage is increased, hope we have the shock absorber to absorb the inflation that will follow. Labour and TUC left the real fight they supposed to be fighting and be running around circus. |

Divide 250k by 30 days in a month and get, u will get 8500 maximum, And here in the street we have simple job that pays 10 k daily, na waooo, no sch sert no qaulification, no transport, no feeding, free accomodations, no vat or tax , Now I believe education and working in 9ja is s like scam, After all years in universe u end up earning below unducated person The worst part is that u will find your self working in the company or factory of an uneducated person |
