First, Regionalism Will Stop Banditry From Infesting To Other Regions by savenaijatoday(op):
First, regionalism will stop the spread of banditry and economic parasitism. With the power and functions of the central almost halved, there will be a high level of independence. The terrorism taking over every aspect of the north will be managed adequately as other regions won't allow it. Each region will manage their police and resources giving room for trust and the feeling of belonging.

talk is cheap. A bandit operating in south west can easily move through the bushes to operate in south east, south south, north central, north west. Dey play.

The capitals of the regions are likely administrative centres and not the resource Centers. There will still be economic parasites . The oil rich states currently get 13% derivation, NDDC and other derivations. Has it been used to develop the oil producing communitieshuh

Una don start to dey advocate for things you know nothing about just because it sounds good.
That is how you guys were jumping upandan, shouting remove fuel subsidy, float the naira. We are all living witnesses to how these policies has 'improved' our lives undecided
The regional government you are advocating for, is it not the same players that will run the show. Will regionalism bring about a change of attitude in the politicians or the citizenry huh

Solution to our problems as a nation is national re orientation. Without that nothing will work in this country.

we had regionalism when Akintola/ Awolowo set the region up in flames during operation wetie.

We had regionalism when the northern police led progroms against igbos in the north when the civil war was about to start. Dont come here and rewrite history .

Regionalism is not a cure for bad government and corruption

So u don't know that the political will to stop banditry and bokoharam is not really there? When regions are allowed to police themselves bandits and other violent groups like fulaniherdsmen menace will definitely be curtained. No region which wants to really develop will tolerate those violent groups to flourish like we currently see because they are anti development.

immigration is federal government duty under regionalism not region. You clearly dont know what u are talking about. With the forests and large land mass surrounding many states bandits will cross easily.

Is this not one of our borders with the country Nigerhuh
The north has similar topography as this. Even in the almighty USA you are in Mexican regularly pass the borders in and out illegally

But there won't be any restraining orders from above if the region resolves to stamp them out.
