This type of misinformation is ridiculous. Wole Soyinka was sentenced to solitary confinement for something that had nothing to do with Biafra actualization but to broker peace.

Appealing for a ceasefire and volunteering to be a mediator in a publication in 1967 when neither side had the upper hand was seen as a betrayal by the military government of Yakubu Gowon. He didn't side with Biafra.
