Nigerian football federation refused to heed to an advice I gave to them some time ago.


Stop using foreign based players for key matches, make it a policy.


Nigerian players become lazy, relaxed and arrogant in playing for the national team once they get signed by European clubs, they feel they have arrived and don't need to waste their energy and talent on Nigerian national team that doesn't pay them much.


So use the best among our home grown footballers drawn from various Nigerian based clubs. Those ones are always eager to play well so they can be noticed by European clubs for signing, so they play with their last blood and strength.



Check Chukwueze when he played for national team the first time, he was playing almost like Lionel Messi and Ronaldo in one but as soon he got signed by European club, he relaxed because he knows he has arrived finally and need to take life easy to enjoy his wealth.



Make it a policy, maybe you can pick two or three exceptional foreign based players for defense mostly

NFF should try this tactics and see if Nigeria wont lift the world cup.
