But when labour tried to task government to reduce fuel and electricity prices, it was still people such as youself that insulted the labour leaders and introduced ethnic and religious sentiments.

When you consider the billions our leaders take home as allowances, 250k is fair.

And is it fair enough to kill over 90% of Nigerians not employed by government? Please, use your brain. We need a holistic solution. You put minimum wage at even N100,000, bag of rice will cost N200,000. A plate of mama put will not be less than N2,000 per plate. And ticket for flight might hit N500,000 from Lagos to Abuja.

Fuel price is just one factor, price control should be another one which is one problem with Nigeria.

If it's not 100k going by the antecedents most Nigerians and some lawmakers, then it's nothing. Shutdown this country. Calling off that strike was a mistake, otherwise by now the talk of minimum wage would have been over and in favour of the masses.

Labour and TUC should keep pressing government neck. Make they pay the 250k minimum wage or make a drastic cut on the humongous monthly take home pay.

On the other hand, if this minimum wage is increased, hope we have the shock absorber to absorb the inflation that will follow.

What job earns 10k daily?

Divide 250k by 30 days in a month and get, u will get 8500 maximum, And here in the street we have simple job that pays 10 k daily, na waooo, no sch sert no qaulification, no transport, no feeding, free accomodations, no vat or tax ,
Now I believe education and working in 9ja is s like scam,
After all years in universe u end up earning below unducated person
The worst part is that u will find your self working in the company or factory of an uneducated person

manual job precisely, I have a guy that deal with solar, his two boys are recieving 10k each everyday.
Working in waste paper company can fetch you 10k daily
Driving Uber only morning and night can fetch you more than 20k gain daily, u have a car, u fuel it maintain it, only for you to use it and transport your self to work that pays you 300k monthly, stop stop stop, register the car in Uber or any drive app, go to your work , Uber for night or stop the work entirly

I think they should aim to tackle the problem of price control, abi? Make good policies and disciplines that will monitor the market. So that even if we earn 20,000naira, one can still buy goods with it.

U are right. But not everybody has the power or gift of being an enteprenuer or skill work. Some people are just suitable for normal employment work.
