Those Who Killed My Father Wanted Abacha As President – MKO Abiola’ Son, Abdul by BeeBeeOoh(op): 8:27pm On Jun 15, 2024
One of MKO Abiola’s son, Abdul, on Saturday disclosed that some international and local forces were behind the death of his father.

Abdul also disclosed that these forces were okay with the late Sani Abacha becoming Nigeria’s president.

He explained that Abiola was killed due to some of the policies he wanted to introduce in Nigeria and Africa if he emerged as president.

Abdul disclosed this while featuring on Seun Okinbaloye’s podcast.

According to Abdul: “A team of people worked against Abiola because he had announced that he would declare daily barrels of oil when he becomes president.

“There were a few forces against Abiola and they were okay with Abacha becoming president. Remember Abiola went to America without a passport (remember the famous no passport), he was the only man allowed to enter US without a passport.

“He went to meet Clinton and I’m sure he would have been looking at him like you want to bring democracy to Africa? Democracy is only good for them, but they would impose dictatorship across the world, yet they claim to be the democratic world. It’s a sham.”

MKO Abiola was the acclaimed winner of the 1993 presidential election which was annulled by former military Head of State, Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, IBB.

After every every, where's the IBB now? "On wheelchair battling with his health". Tell him to come and rule this country now in his present condition, l don't think he will accept such offer. Too true, "nothing dey this life"

shocked tongue ; Aideded by your people who wanted to be commissioners and ministers .
The Yorubas betrayed Abiola...
Kola Abiola once said that they killed him and shared his meat.

In this life no one really care for anyone.
What is permanent is life is interest.

American don't care about Africa.
Nigerian presidents don't care about it's citizens.

We are all selfish..

The sooner you realize that the better for you.

I was wondering why the usual yearly discussions about democracy/history were quiet, save for Fasheun being sidelined as hero.

I still wonder who the real Nigerian actors behind Abiola & Abacha's deaths are.

We reap what we sow. Regardless of how you portray MKO as the hero of Nigerian democracy, he reaped what he sowed.

You do not fund military takeovers out of self-interest and expect them to always be loyal to you. You do not just make money from sources you can not reveal and expect life to go on as usual while people suffer as a result of your greed. You do not just loot a country's wealth and expect the souls you starve to not seek vengeance.

We reap what we sow. Shikena.

We heard bitter grievingory Obi also benefited massively from Abacha's regime when Asiwaju Jagaban was with NADECO fighting for the enthronement of democracy, God now rewards Tinubu with Nigeria presidency and bitter grievingory Obi with President of beer company owners association of anambra,

Blackman isn't made to rule himself. When I hear people make comments such as " our founding fathers" " heroes past" "nationalists" etc I just laugh. Nigeria and indeed, Africa, would have been almost like Europe if we hadn't gained independence. Azikiwe, bello, balewa we fought for independence, cos of their selfish interests and those of their future generations, not for us.

Is the annulment that made him to be using the wheelchair?
How many people do you see close to 90 without them battling with one thing or the other
