omo this matter long, however, Mercedes benz is a car manufacturing company same with BMW. Their's something they call aftermarket company that deals on custom parts, tuning and modification of a purchased vehicle to meets customers taste. Alpina, brabus ,mansory and co all belongs to this aftermarket companies,they have no affiliation with Mercedes,porsche or bmw. Mansory covers alot of manufacturer like Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW etc, unlike the Brabus that customises specific models in Mercedes benz and the porsche lineups, so is the alpina to BMW,all these re individual companies working on their own. On the other hand,AMG,4matic and maybach are subsidiaries of Mercedes benz of which refers to a specific model type of luxury and custom works in the manufacturing lineups. So saying AMG is among the tuning aftermarket companies is wack,my 2cent.
