62000 Naira is very okay for NLC if all our politician agree or accept the condition to be paid with same amount. This will make them to think straight. Greedy people.

Any company/state not able to pay its workers a decent wage is not a viable company and should be disposed of...merged back into a more viable state. This is ridiculous reasoning. Presidency, Senator, HOR, & all political office holders all gave themselves raises not too long ago in that same Nigeria. Are they currently complaining that they are having to spend more on goods and services? Why is it that it is the Nigerian people, many of whom have not received a raise in over 4 years that are screaming at the biting cost of prices of goods and services instead?

Inflation as it stands today is not a result of Nigerians being paid more money but a result of recent APC policies many of which were implemented during this current administration. You didn't bother to read that page you posted, did you? In the U.S, the federal minimum wage is set to ensure that everyone in the nation is paid at least that amount. State minimum wage cannot go below the Federal rate. A State must set its minimum wage above the Federal rate to qualify for the right to decide its minimum wage.

They increased the prices of good and services but failed to increase the salaries of their workers along with it. Who is currently responsible for the wages of those non-governmental workers at this point? Government or the private sector?

2. I don't follow. Whether or not the government agrees to pay NLC or TUC, those private-sector workers will continue to depend solely on their private-sector employers, right? So, what exactly is your issue with the private sector not being directly paid even after all of this by the government?

3. New wages have not been released in over 4 years yet inflation has climbed to over 35% with no end in sight. Prices of goods and services have risen over 400% at this point and it is expected to continue to rise. The new reality of things in Nigeria, a reality caused not by an increase in wages but by policies implemented by the government, is responsible for the high inflation rate and high cost of goods and services. Zamfara decided to pay 18K($12 a month) where the international poverty line is set at $2.15 a day so we should let them pay people just $12 a month? Again, read the page you referenced. States are not to choose for themselves unless they intend to pay more than the Federal minimum wage.

Even so-called pressure groups do not have the right to enforce laws. They can only help raise awareness of problem points as they have continued to but they cannot enforce laws in Nigeria.

You can do that but not everyone is that stewpid! There are actually individuals out there who will go out and demand their rights be respected by Law. They know to file a complaint with the department of Labor and go from there to ensure they get adequately renumerated.
