5 out of those countries are not in the good books of the US and they're either labeled a terrorist sponsor or their economy shattered by IMF and world bank.

Were this a European country, it's per capita income would be $85,000 and sovereign trust fund will hold $5 trillion.

Saudi Arabia and Saudi Arabians basically live off oil. Over 40%, if not 60% of Saudis who work do so for the government. This is simply ridiculous.

It's people are lazy and very entitled. Everyone one wants a cozy government job with a fat salary.

Energy is heavily subsidized. Electricity is very cheap.

All this is greatly draining the Saudi purse and the monarchy would love to end this, but is petrified of violent regime change.

The indulgences can not continue forever.
