Three Storey Building Collapses In Ebonyi Hospital, Two Trapped by Newlymarried(op): 10:37am On Jun 19, 2024

A three-storey building under construction inside Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, collapsed on Tuesday evening, June 18, leaving people trapped. Two persons who were working inside the building when it collapsed, reportedly got trapped.

One of the workers was first rescued and taken to the hospital where he is currently receiving medical attention. A rescue team involving engineers and officials of the State Ministry of Works, Capital Territory Development Authority and security agencies battled to rescue the second victim. He looked weak and exhausted when eventually rescued and was rushed to the hospital for medical attention.

The collapse of the building came four days after a three-storey hotel building under construction also collapsed at Eduna Street along Hatchery Road in Abakiliki

Why won't building collapses be on the increase when S.O.N. have abandoned their duties.
16mm rod is now 14mm
Likewise other diameters too.
Quality of cement has dropped.
And on top, some contractors are still greedy.

I can now see that some of u from that side are just not human beings. Probably some of u are not really matured to be on a forum like this or childish behaviours are just peculiar to some of you. You just wake up without reasoning to type nonsense which even a tolder must not do. Instead for u to investigate to know who is handling the project and supply substandard building materials but all you could do is to link it to Tinubu. I'm not an APC member but some of here need proper orientation to contribute meaningfully to national discussion. It's a pity we have people like u in this country.
