In a passionate plea, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), addressed the court and journalists today, emphasizing that their struggle is for freedom, not violence or bloodshed.

Kanu lamented the suffering of Africans, from slavery in Arabia, Europe, and America, and stressed that their goal is to ensure the continent realizes its divine potential. He condemned the making of young widows and the suffering of families, stating that it is not the outcome they desire.

"We want people to be free. That's what we're fighting for. Nothing more," Kanu emphasized, highlighting the importance of focusing on the continent's liberation and prosperity.
