AbSapi:
Hello Nls, please help!!...... I am qualified for these two NOCs ( Admin Officer and Admin Service Manager).
The title of my current role is Admin Service Manager but most of my JD(job des) is Admin Officer although I perform some services on Admin Service JD. I can get letter from my company for either.

My question is which NOC is the better one to get the Letter on? I am targeting Ontario, Saskatchewan and Alberta PNP.

Please advise....

Canadians don't want to hear the word immigration this period.
I think they’re more agitated about unskilled immigration via study routes and TFWs not necessarily EE. And who can blame them really? When you’re looking at your country turn to a third world country because one group of people are determined to cut corners, you would be seriously miffed. I travelled abroad via a study visa and I can’t imagine protesting against the government because my visa would be expiring and I wouldn’t be able to get fast tracked PR. The basis of getting a study visa is that you have no intention of staying in the country after your visa expires. Its pure entitlement to think you are owed a PR.

So you mean people wey use student route get mind dey protest against government because they think dey are entitled to PR?
If we don't see any draw by next week it will mean only 2 express entry draws have been done in the past 2 months. The competition just got tougher.

The sense of entitlement is mind boggling.

Reading through comments on this topic gives me a clearer picture on why many of our people struggle when they get to canada while a few flourish and flourish. Nigerians can be very lawless and don't like to follow due process. Agents are popular because people are looking for a short cut. Agents will continue to prey on them.
It's well. Due diligence in all things.
Please I sent you a DM.

Any tips on how to smash IELTS listening?

luckygirl02:
It's PPPRRRRR

ITA: Feb 14 healthcare draw
AOR: March 13
BIL/MIL: April 17
Gave Biometrics: April 19
Medical passed: April 24
No update until today
FD and Passport request: June 6.

We tried in the year 2019/2020 sitting in the pool with 466 crs. Couldn't get ITA and COVID also damaged things. By the time IRCC started draws after COVID, we had lost significant points due to age. IELTS also expired. We sha packed our bags and enter UK early 2021.

Then IRCC introduced category based draws. Second chance at Canada leyi ooo. So we started again. Had to write ielts 3 times unfortunately. Each time, I am 0.5 short in either listening or writing. I wrote the final one on February 10 2024. Got my CBT results on February 13 with LRWS 9,8,7,7.5. I updated my profile immediately and my score jumped to 440 from 384. The next day, February 14, IRCC did healthcare draw and boom our ITA.

Hang in there everyone. Yours on the way.

Study phoneme/phonetics. It will help you listen better. Practice enough on past tests. You'll be fine.

Hi good evening,

Please I want to ask and confirm if it's true that both 1st degree and Master's degree needs to be evaluated by WES if one is going via the PNP route.

Only the highest degree should be evaluated. In this case, the masters.

People switch careers all the time, that isn't a problem provided you have worked in both roles and have done at least 6 months within the last 3 years, your profile is only recorded in the GCMS officially when you get ITA.

I also won't assume IRCC doesn't have the tools to check all the updates you transmit pre ITA.

My 475 just dey waste. Wish i was in the pool before feb 14. Let me use this opp to learn french jare

475 looks like a guaranteed ITA in the next healthcare draw, doesn't look like that category has many applicants with masters compared to STEM. Huge advantage for people in healthcare with masters already.

I swear the thing is just annoying. My score is even higher than all the healthcare draw that has ever been published. If i were in the pool pre feb 14 i’d have gotten ita

I was asked to present payslip by some agents
eniola1010:
Your input is valid. Why i asked her is because you know most healthcare ppl in uk, must of us fall under the 44101 even tho the job description is 33102. Of course its 33102 i would advise anyone to use, i am just weary of a situation where ircc will call your employer “that is if ircc actually does that anyways” and if the employer is too over zealous and going to jabo that you arent a nurse assistant and what you actually are/is a home/residential care support/care worker “that is where my own fear is”. I, personally i am not affected cus i work in clinical settings. I am just asking cus i got folks in uk in the dilemma. Again these folks in question have requested ref letter from there employer, some of the employer agreed to put nurse aide, why some oversabi one who follow the book to the core are adamant that it is exactly what they are they will put as the role position on the ref letter, which is support worker/home care assistant.

But this ur case is dicey, cus in agency sometimes u can do 20hours this week, 10 hours the other week, and on some weeks 40hours, so far u can prove that in each month of that 6month you are doing minimum of 120hours. You are good to go. Even if ur hours no really complete still go ahead. There is no harm in trying. Furthermore, why do u want to submit payslip? Its not required. Dont look for trouble. Just submit your employment letter or ref letter that states you do at least 30 hours weekly or 120hours monthly.even if you dont actually do up to those hours. Ur ref letter or employment letter is the koko.

Your input is valid. True you can produce payslips. Because in uk, most banks do not give letter headed official letter. Monzo doesnt wise doesnt llyods doesnt. I dont know which bank does. So in that case one can use pay slips.
