Mitchell or Doughty should have made the team, you’re spot on with Gordon he’s very direct and has no time to trickery unlike Eze or Saka and as for Trent he has no business been in the middle he’s like a deer lost in the headlights

The combination of Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham is just awful. Kane doesn't play like a traditional striker; he likes to come deep to receive the ball, while Bellingham moves in exactly the same way.

Trent as a central midfielder is always going to be exposed. I don't know what he's thinking. Even with Virgil van Dijk to support him at Liverpool, they usually get exposed with Trent playing in midfield. Trippier doesn't offer anything offensively. Their best player in the last match and this match was Kyle Walker. dude played his heart out.

The commentator was asking Declan Rice to push forward. I just laughed. You're asking the only defensive cover to push forward? It would have ended 4-0. People just don't see that Rice is the only one holding that midfield together.

The first half was even tbh. But Spain kicked into a higher gear in the second half and Italy had no response. They created some chances in the first half but now, they hardly see the ball. That double sub early in the second half could be reason why.
