phantom:
my brother, I hope you know that written, oral and visible evidence are all admissible in a court of law? Let's not twist facts.

You asked for evidence of them reading their letters on the floor of house and I tendered it to you in that video.

The defection letter he read out in that video is everywhere. I can post it for you here, though not very clear since its a scanned copy. OKO jumbo lawyers should have a copy. That is documentary evidence.

The affidavit is documentary evidence. What else? Like someone said earlier, no party gives you a defection card, what they do is remove your name from the register but those are all later processes. Amaehwule and co fulfilled the early requirements for defection.
Let jumbo and co present those documentary evidence.the court will prefer the original clear copy rather than a copy and it must be shown clearly that the speaker read it on the floor.continually emphasizing in video evidence will lead nowhere.

Again, the actual person that has locus to sue for defection is pdp national.
The supreme court in Kano matter clearly said only a party can tell who it's members are.abd that party membership and cards are primary evidences of membership.

Very good. Now you've brought up a matter that if true, then they have a case.
But then again remember the PDP also testified in the same FHC that they were no longer members of PDP. That's why they abandoned that omotosho case.

Exactly but from what I've seen at the appeal court, there's no case here just as the outgoing chairmen and CTC chairmen have no case..
Shey you said they have abandoned omotosho court abi plus pdp have recanted

You are the one hallucinating.you mean you forgot when he foolishly suspended the chief judge and after njc rebuked him he ,he recanted? Anyway, the assembly members are winning
There was the rumour early on when the fight started that he sacked the Chief judge, the Chief of Staff and the 27 Local Government Chairmen.

It didn't take up to 24 hours to debunk that rumour.

There was nothing like that.

However the Chief Judge Simeon Chibuzor Amadi is 1 million percent simplified.

That is the information I have for you.

grin

I will not comment on what I am not sure of.what I am very sure is that the lawmakers will win.any other things is probable

The chairmen are gone clearly, sim might survive but he will surely not get 2nd term and the assembly members will win
I just want to see Wike in tears period.

Even if he succeeds in removing Sim in 2027, the next person he brings will still fight him.

I bet you 100 percent.

Wike crying or not is irrelevant as far as it doesn't affect APC fortunes.
Wike must have learnt a lesson or two about godfatherism, that he must always keep a distance and not be overbearing.he must have learnt from Tinubu the master

I repeat to you,

Only a crooked judiciary can give those lawmakers a favourable judgement.

They went to a Federal high court and swore on oath that they left the PDP

And you're telling me that a compromised PDP EXCO would defend them and say they are still in the party...

What kind of judgement would that be?

What exactly is your problem? As far as their names are in pdp register,no defection letter is provided,it means they never defected

I feel Wike is greedy and overbearing. I also feel Fubara is a rebellous ingrate and a hypocrite. I wish both of them can be relegated in the political sphere in Rivers.

Fubara paints a picture of a calm and nice personna but I see him for what he is. He's a snake and a hypocrite. A level 12 cicil servant who already had a house in London before he became governor and yet wants to paint a picture of a Saint.

My prayer, though wishful, is for Amaechi to make a return in Rivers politics via any of his protégé.

Even if they win SIM will give them Obaseki treatment.A sitting governor is even more powerful than a President.

You can't think in legal cases, you must be sure.documentary evidences are what matters not video evidences.defection takes place when a letter is written to the ward chairman and copied to the nwc.for legislators,a letter is written to the speaker and announced on the floor of the house.besides, their names are still on pdp register and their party hasn't disowned them.
For the affidavit part, they can disown that.plus, they have abandoned that particular case and are pursuing something else
Diswon an affidavit? How old are u

Common let's use common sense here..

You think party membership register is something you wake up and clean everyday like a kindergarten classroom board?

Political parties do register update from time to time and I assure you it it not everyday. grin

When a person defects their name remains in the register until the next register update which could even be 6 months later.

So stop trying to prove anything with these your half facts.

And stop saying "they never defected"
Cus you're not 'talking' to kids here.

It will be better you just say, they defected but they will try to wriggle their way out with the help of the compromised PDP.

Was it not the same PDP that was shouting in the early days that the 27 lawmakers had ceased to be their members and called on INEC to conduct elections to fill the vacant seats?

Until Wike and the 27 realized that they were going to lose the case and made a u turn and started making a deal with Damagun?

We are not children here..

Only the compromised judiciary we have in this country can save those 27 lawmakers...

So you are smart enough to know amaechi was or is the best option for Rivers state yet you dey here dey misyarn since. With what wike did to amaechi, should any right thinking person be supporting wike especially when Wike cannot lace Amaechis boots as regards performance?

The chairmen are gone and the local government structure is the hands of Sim loyalist yet somehow u think he won't get a 2nd term..is that not u contradicting yourself? When the election comes, you will know that rivers people really loves Sim and with the street men and militants he has activated second term sure die

1. We heard that Wike was demanding 20 percent of Rivers allocation.
2. We heard that Sim was prevented from attending meetings outside PH without the permission of Wike.
3. We heard that Sim begged Wike to allow him produce 3 out of the 23 LLGA chairmen including his own Opobo and Wike refused.
4. We heard that Wike was using the state Jet and Sim couldn't.
5. Wike appointed Chief security officer, Chief of Staff, Secretary to the state, 90 percent of the commissioners.
6. Wike refused to allow Sim's wife have any office of First lady.

7. Big politicians could not come to visit Sim without Wike being informed about it.

Now these are the rumours we heard.

Now assuming that some or all of the above are true,

Would you still accuse Sim of being a big betrayer?

I have told him already,,

With all the facts available to us,
Only a corrupt and compromised judiciary can let those 27 lawmakers off the hook.

Only a compromised judiciary like the one predominant in Nigeria.
