Husband Wants Wife To Support And Build His Land After Refusing To Support Her. by Nancyashu(op): 3:21pm On Jun 21, 2024
Married for a while, a wife travelled to the Uk two years ago and during the time, . Her husband sold one of his properties for around a million naira and only paid for her tuberculosis test which was less than 80,000naira at the time. Only the wife’s mum was the person who supported her in travelling.

Fast forward few months later, wife is pregnant, mum dies and wife has started supporting her husband with all her income for husband to join her. Husband successfully joins her and life is good.

Fast forward to 4years later , husband and wife are saving for a major investment in Nigeria, but due to the amount needed, it seems both of them would have to take more time before they can save up for that investment.

Now husband is asking wife to use part of the saved money to build on one of his own properties;(property is solely his and was bought before they met), whilst still saving for the major investment.

Wife doesn’t feel up to it? Should she allow him or not?

I get the sense that the reason many of these women refuse to change is that they unconsciously desire the homeland headache and heartache. grin

grin @bold. Too funny

But yes I don’t understand the need to separate property when married. What’s the plan? To go live separately after it’s built or what?

Except the fact that some of these folks are cunning and they know they’re not really truly in those unions wholeheartedly. Or they want another property somewhere they can hide another family and live double lives. Even if it’s just an investment property, what’s the extra income for? Isn’t it to spend on your family? So why can’t the property be in the couples joint name? All these games.

Property like that just changes names to ours instead of mine after marriage ASAP.

I am beginning to think some of these treads are just for traffic.

There are some questions that are criminal to ask in 2024!
