Lateef Adegbite died a long time ago.

I'm aware Ishaq Akintola is still around. But Lateef Adegbite (I think he was once NSCIA secretary-general) died several years ago. I don't know if there's another well known moslem with the same name who's still alive.

Edit: OP is all over the place. cheesy

critique99:
Following my earlier thread in which I revealed the discussions among Southern Islamic preachers, we have noted significant interest in the conversation. And many Muslim faithful seem to be happy with the revelations now coming to light.
New contributors to the discussion aligned with the views shared, and further denounced the Sultan of Sokoto calling him the biggest religious criminal in Nigerian history. The key point from the new discussion is:

a) who appointed Sultan as head of Nigerian Muslims?
b) should a religious office be merged with Sokoto king?

Nobody could remember when, where, and how the Sultan was appointed or consecrated as Head of Nigerian Muslims.

In every other religion, there is a clear path to accession of high religious office. First, you must have lived a whole life of service to Allah, which would manifest as you climb the religious ladder, till you become a religious head. That is how it is with high religious offices, and the holders live exemplary lives. That is the way it is in all religions; the exception is with Northern Muslims. Someone becomes Sultan and immediately he assumes head of Nigerian Muslims. HELL NO. No, no, no. . It should NOT be like that. A religious office is separate from king. And before you attain such office, your exemplary life devoted to Allah must be well known to faithfuls, because they have seen you rise through the ranks. High religious offices are NOT for random people.

And as religious head, you are devoted to God/Allah. You role is to lead Muslim faithful in worship of Allah, and your religious office confers you with the authority to lead religious activities. Your whole life would have set the example for Muslims before you ever attain such office.

In Northern Nigeria, we have a Sultan who arrogated to himself the title of Head of Nigerian Muslims, but engages in all kinds of covert criminal activities, and he thinks we do not know. Take a look at the covert activities of a so-called religious leader

A) subverting democratic process [this one is fresh in our mind]
B) influencing judges [Sultan calls northern Judges and encourages them to give fraudulent judgements]
C) supporting criminal activities [Sultan signed numerous letters in support of Boko Haram]
D) inviting Islamic terrorists to Nigeria [this year alone, Zakir Naik and Hamas have come to Nigeria]
E) inciting northern military officers and giving ethnic orders [numerous testimonies abound]
F) influencing and using government officials to promote northern interest [live testimony from several people]
G) causing religious division [voice of Esau, hand of Jacob]
H) championing the North/South divide [live testimony]
I) importing migrants, killers and criminals to destabilize the nation [voice of Esau, hands of Jacob]
J) driving the Fulani conquest agenda [voice of Esau, hands of Jacob, from intelligence source]
No other king does these things.
These are the covert activities of a man who is supposed to be Devoted to God, and guide Muslim faithful to lead righteous lives. A man who was never appointed or elected into any religious position. Since when did the Head of Muslims become an appendage of Sokoto Caliphate. Northern Nigeria is a den of illiteracy, am sorry. There is nothing right in the North, everything is upside down. A king should NOT be a religious office. Religion is Not tradition.

Fulani did NOT bring Islam to Nigeria. Fulani did NOT bring Islam to Hausa land. The Dan Fodio jihad was extremist and doesn't entitle the Sultan to be the Head of Nigerian Muslims. Sokoto jihad is not a consecration to office as Head of Nigerian Muslims. And certainly, the office of Head of Nigerian Muslims can NOT be hereditary, neither is a religious office related to traditional kingship. Religion is different from tradition. Religion is different from politics. Religion is religion. It can NOT be mixed with tradition or politics. Muslims must wake UP.

Please we need answers to the questions:
a) who appointed Sultan as head of Nigerian Muslims?
b) should a religious office be merged with Sokoto king?

Time is set to have the elect a new Head of Nigerian Muslims, a consecrated office whose holder is not a covert criminal. Discussions are ongoing. Please submit your opinion.

Hmm! If the religion of peace is at war, who do you blame? Let peace reign, slaves must respect masters. That is the law!
Slaves must respect their masters.

Slaves must do the bidding of their masters.
