Watch from 1:10 and 2:21. This is just ridiculous. These churches are hardened deceivers

Because the fire incident does not support their heretic logics.

The incident proves that the pastors don't see visions as much as they claim.

The incident ridicules the claim that those who pay tithes cannot suffer misfortunes. The pastors collect and pay tithes.

The incident ridicules the saying that, "What God cannot do does not exist".

It is also rumoured that the fire is a smokescreen to demolish the building to cover up structural defects and prevent the building from collapsing. The rumour may or may not be true. But I am yet to hear the suspected or confirmed cause of the fire outbreak.

The premises belongs to Christ Embassy, they have the right to cordon it off and ensure safety protocols among which is to restrict journalists from unneccessary access. If they asked journalists to delete videos, they're well within their rights. There're videos/pictures out there already, that is enough to sell your newspapers.

Why would the church go to such extent?
Is there something they are hiding?

That's why their scams have not been documented for a long time. They don't allow filming of their church by anyone but their team.

They are chasing journalists away because they don't want to see bloggers writing Top 10 Churches that Caught Fire in Nigeria.

On a serious note, every organisation has a right to privacy. If they say they don't want you recording the fire incident, leave their property.

After all, it's not like the journalists will extinguish the fire. Covering the incident live is just a means of bringing them under public scrutiny.

I just watched the brief video. It makes NO sense for the Church leadership to restrict media coverage of an inferno that was already posted on the Internet. They had to do that in order to avoid embarrassments for the personal egos of the Church leadership since the last major fire outbreak occured in 2014 based on the video news report.

The raging inferno was successfully contained with NO human casualties. Kudos to the galant men and women of the Lagos State Fire Service. If the Church has the standard insurance cover, then they'll get indemnified.

Next time, proper fire threat assessments and regular fire drills must be carried out to prevent a repeat of this kind of ferocious fire incident. That's all that matters.

Shameless people will come and defend nonsense. Religion is opium to a black man irrespective of congregation.
