Who keeps money in the church?The firefighter's are supposed to rush into the fire abi?Some are allowed to burn out if it causes no danger moreover the harm has already being done.

When fighting a fire of that intensity, you use containment strategies not direct ones which are much less efrective. From what you described they did the right thing.
