Man inhumanity to Man.

Where is the love!?

Where is the brotherhood!?

How long are we going to go on like this?

Why all these pains!?

This is the 24th year of the 21st century...And things are still like this.

In 2years time Nigeria population would have reduced to 130million people, politicians like Tilumbu will come out with enough palliatives in the bid to win a reelection, some people who's hunger has killed some of their relatives will still queue behind Tilumbu shouting AWALOKAN LEEKEJI!, money will be made available but same money would have lost it purchasing power, Nigerians wont even have the strength to shout again cos of exhaustion, a pack of indomie jollof will be enough to buy some peoples conscience, tribalism will come out in the open, Lagos will resume it hostility against the Igbos as usual...

God no go shame us.

People like you are part of the problem we have in this country.

Why put up insinuations of ethnic sentiments on this kind of matter? Doing so takes away from the issue that should be addressed and gives room for ethnic jingoistic elements sponsored by those at the helm of affairs to create divisions, distractions and disunity.

Millions of non-Igbos do not support BAT, but when you tie your criticism of BAT to ethnic sentiments, you effectively leave others with one of two choices; criticise BAT and his ethnic group or stand for your ethnic group and avoid criticising BAT because it would be akin to supporting those insulting your ethnicity.

Bottomline: Stop introducing subjective ethnic sentiments when talking about failure of governance.
I'm proud of you, thank you for your stance, God bless you. Tribalism is the reason why we are where we are today, the masses are feeling the heat; i personally may say that I'm ok but family/friends calling for help is taking it toes on me because my savings is something else now.

Ordinarily and rationally, this 'Emilokan' should have been impeached by now for gross incompetence to save vulnerable Nigerians who cannot withstand the terrible ordeals of the present day Nigeria. But the national assembly are busy passing laws that are neither implemented nor address the plights of the grassroot.

We are still practising ethno religious politics not democracy as obtains in climes where laws are working.

It's unfortunate that this incompetence is directly affecting the unwary and the enfeebled citizens who do not know how to emancipated themselves from the evil leadership.

At the present insane economic woes, we need genuine and selfless activists to spring up from every nook and cranny of the country to save the helpless
seriously bro. This Tinubu of a thing is just plain wicked. Which kind suffer he con put us like this? Everything is expensive including garri a poor man's food. I seriously tired

We all should start small farming at our backyards. That's the solution bcoz the high cost of food is deliberate and it's aimed at making life difficult for Nigeria and Nigerians.

I don't understand why beans sellers would tell me it's bcoz of transport as if Tinubu increased fuel prices again

I bought carrots 4 weeks ago for #1,000 at Orange market Mararaba.

A week after, that's 3 weeks ago I was there to buy same carrots. My customer told me it's #2,200. I asked him what happened, he said it's transport and I asked which transport,? Did Tinubu increase fuel prices again?

Na we dey do ourselves. A basket of tomatoes that was #18,000 in April became #80,000 by first week of June, the seller said it's transport. Me I don't understand bcoz it's more than conspiracy.

Now, what's going to happen when Minimum Wage is effected? No be we dey do ourselves?

Meanwhile, be careful about fruits o and all these fertilizer vegetables o. May the Lord see us through.
You're an idiot. After supporting and defending the evil and criminal party you have the guts to call the lord to see you through and acting like you're confused as if tinubu had good intentions before, no, it wont be well with you.

Good afternoon my wonderful people of Nairaland..

For the past 5months now things has not been going on fine, i lost my job due to sickness, and i have just been managing hawking snacks around in the market, but the high cost of commodities really affected the goods and I couldn't get money to continue the business.

Please sir and ma , i need your help in order to be able to rise to my feet again..

I currently live with my mother who was diagnosed of stroke and it's been hard taking care of her and i have been the one running up and down as the first child, the rent expires last two month but the landlord has been considerate due to my mom's condition, our feeding has not been constant and medications for my aged mother..
Although church has been helping out with little but not enough to live.

I need your help and i will be greatful if I'm able to get help or maybe a job that will sustain me to earn a living...
I'm not a lazy woman and i am ready to work if there is any opportunity..

Thanks

Which traders?

I showed you data from authoritaive sources that points that food growth has fallen over the past years and government has don't nothing to improve crop yield.
Before transportation increase how much was a bag of maize in 2015 cost compared to 2018/2019? How much was tubers of yams in 2015 compared to 2018/2019?
How much was garri per bag in 2015 compared to 2019?

We have been experiencing inflation which has been attributed not only to cost push but also to demand push inflation as food production declines, population growth rate spike then demand exceeds supply and there is rationing of items via price system

Here is a report from 2017 when subsidy was still in place

Just last year, we bought a bag of garri for N6,000, today (January 12, 2017), the same bag goes for 10,000. I usually stock my store with 50 to 70 bags of garri, and sell about 20 bags in one day,” he told The Cable source: https://www.thecable.ng/how-govt-policies-lower-living-standards-push-millions-of-nigerians-into-poverty/amp/
