/ Tinapa, Amechi's monorail in PH, this one. Nothing new! They all started as hyped and laudable projects. Sound familiar? 10 years from now, they will be writing the same abandonment story for Lagos-Calabar highway. / |

jmoore:This is why nigeria is not growing, A governor will start a project but won't finish before end of his tenure, instead of the incoming to continue and finish, He will abandon cos he didn't start it so no body will praise him if he finishes it.... As if they are building it with their money, Why is America or UK as beautiful as it is today.... |

Ebubu2:Why? Does it have structural problems that require it be brought down or something? ![]() |

Ebubu2:Not Prado pls. Be guided. https://www.nairaland.com/7967697/gov-nwifuru-buys-suvs-all If he buys 25 Prado, the economy of Ebonyi state will collapse. The ones bought are good enough and suitable for purpose. |

White elephant project as usual. Demolish the building and reuse the plot for something productive. I doubt it will be sensible to continue work on such a long abandoned building that likely has developed structural lapses over time. |

Who would want to stay in this shiithole region ? If God allows people to change ethnicity. I can bet you 99.99999999% of them wouldn't change to Caucasian. They will change to Yoruba. I can bet anything. And you can be sure 0.000000001% of Yoruba will want to be an Indigene of this shiithole. ![]() The raw hate is just jealousy of Yoruba being 1000x superior. ![]() I dont mind a ban for this. Its 100% fact. 💯

The inferiority complex of the Ebonyi people always pushes their leaders to do wetin pass dem power... Same way the immediate past governor built an airport in order not to be left out, since all other Igbo states have airports.. After spending billions to erect such an unviable airport project, the structure has been abandoned and turned into a taxi and motor park❗️❗️❗️ In fact the airport has become an easy source of embezzlement and milking of the Ebonyi people as the new governor, in one year, has reportedly spent N17bn to carry out maintenance on an airport that isn't operational❗️❗️😐😐😐 https://saharareporters.com/2024/06/20/exclusive-n53billion-ebonyi-airport-one-nigerias-poorest-states-lies-idle-over-year ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ ⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬ ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ EXCLUSIVE: N53Billion Ebonyi Airport In One Of Nigeria's Poorest States Lies Idle Over A Year After Lavish Inauguration Speaking recently during his first anniversary in office, Governor Nwifuru announced that his administration had spent N17.3 billion on remedial work on the airport runway. June 19, 2024, marks the 390th day since the Chuba Okadigbo International Airport in Abakaliki was opened by former President Muhammadu Buhari on May 26, 2023.

EmeeNaka:blocks, sand and rods carry 80% of loads in a building,so the remaining 20% addition won't make it to collapse. The government must have done soil test before embarking on the project |

| Re: Tallest Building In Ebonyi Abandoned By State Government by Amah70: 6:13pm On Jun 23, 2024 |
Depriest2020:Which private investors? Unless investors who can convert it to living homes. Govs who build vainglory projects in their state capital while rest of the state stink are many. Population, not buildings, make a place thrive. |

Ebubu2:Good. But I'll really like to see more ROADS and municipal water. He should invest in electricity too - now that states are allowed to act in that direction. Then bring back Ebube Agu so that criminals and Fulani marauders won't take it all away. |

lilyheaven:Your other APC governors patch only roads in the state capital. Otti understands the economic importance of good urban roads not only for state capital but for other cities in a state. |
