Feelers have it that supporters of the former Anambra governor are also likely to feel betrayed if he accepts to be running mate to Atiku, as it will seem Obi has abandoned his promis

TRUE.
The moment Peter Obi accepts to be running mate to Atiku Abubakar again, that's when Obi will be abandoned by any reasonable person who earlier supported him in 2023.

The question will be: why did Obi leave Atiku in 2023 in the first place?

Do you know know that even if you give Peter Obi 100% of your votes, he still won't win?

Do you know that the last 3 Presidential elections have been won without your region?

Do you know that anyone you support in the next election is guaranteed to lose?

Do you know that if they fix election for today being Monday, your parents hiding under the bed can't even come out to vote?

How then do you want to win?

Did you know that Labour Party as a party did not have documented manifesto in the last election?

https://www.nairaland.com/8133759/labour-party-did-not-documented
That's not a point, where are those that have been documenting their manifesto since 1960 taken the Country to?

If u give another reasonable point, I will support u.

They are used to making a mockery of themselves. Even the Biafran warlord Ojukwu still contested to become Nigeria's President after leading his people to the slaughter and miserable kwashiorkor.

See stewp!d question.

In whose interest?

Both parties. Is there any sign of "forced marriage" here?

Is it even possible to force anyone into unfriitful alliance?

Stop disturbing your brain, Obi is a scarce commodity and a marketable product. He may decide to quit completely because he will never accept VP.

https://www.nairaland.com/8133759/labour-party-did-not-documented
Does a party have manifesto? I thought it is a candidate that produces manifesto in conjunction with his party. A party only have their own constitution that guides their conduct and administration.
In every election circle we see candidates produced manifestos. I know of OBJ's, Yar'adua's, Buhari's, Tinubu"s, Atiku"s, Obi's and many the then presidential candidates. Please show me PDP or APC manifesto as a party.
helinues, I don't think it is a must for you to comment because you suspend your brain to comment. A party doesn't have manifesto, it's candidate that produces one.

This is Peter Obi's 2023 Presidential Manifesto link:

Why all this lie?

The only way for this merger to work out is if only Obi will agree to run as the VP to Atiku. Atiku can never, ever, succumb to being Obi's vP.
The fact though, still remains that even Bacterians are tired of their cocaine-sniffing master and would definitely secretly want a change.
i will keep voting that cocaine master

South South in the bag for who? The same South South I know or the one not yet in existence like the Lagos Secondary School Tinubu attended in 1970 but cam to existence in 1973? I think it must be the South South not yet in existence and not the one in existence.
Who will rig for APC in Rivers State and not be in a bodybag instantly. Remember a new sheriff is in town and not the former sheriff. Who Dalta state, who will rig or massively vote for APC, with Baba Edwin Clark? Who will massively vote for APC in Akwa Ibom? Akpabio will only try in his constituency but not outside his constituency. They may try in Cross Rivers State because of the APC governor there but would be able to garner more than the 25% constitutional requirement. Bayelsa State nko, no go area.
Bro., they use brain do analysis fa and stop all this emotional blackmail.
Tinubu will surely win South West votes massively but not South South as you opined.
