First of all, im an igbo from anioma, but i need to bring to attention the costly mistake we igbos are making in terms of land management and sustainability, the landmass of all the five southeastern states are not up to oyo state, the population of the five states is 10times more than oyo state, yet the rate they are destroying their land, uprooting economic trees, farm lands all in the name of building houses for bragging rights is worrisome, now there is serious starvation in Nigeria, but it's worst in igboland because there is not enough land for subsistence farming to support average families, yorubas that have surplus land never mismanaged there land like this, in 20yrs time to see land farm in some places in igboland will be extremely difficult . the naked truth is that if igbos don't take time we will depend on other geopolitical group to feed, it's already happening.stop wasting our scarce land building houses that you hardly live in .we contribute nothing to the Nigerian food chain.
