This is sad, honestly, Tinubu would have been a great president 20 years ago, but this current version has nothing to offer. I pray Nigeria survives this government
years ago when he was still agile directing his drug cartel or wot are you saying,a criminal is a criminal, wether young or old..

I personally don't blame BAT for all this. During campaign he never promised us any thing aside the fact it's his turn to rule. . Please take whatever you see... Inec said he was the people's choice so let the people enjoy his government.

You see supermarkets business is a very risky business especially when you crash prices to match with retail stores around. Once you ain't racking in those volumes, you would shutdown in no time.
..it's the bad economy that caused it..high costs of fuel and disel...lack of constant power supply..., 1500 naira to a dollar, multiple taxation, depreciation of the naira against the dollars..all these is the cause of the supermarket shut down and other companies that have shut down
Re: Shoprite to shut down Abuja Branch On June 30 Due To Current Economic Realities by ufotunang: 11:02pm On Jun 24, 2024
What did you all expect from a president like Tinubu that the only thing he could tell nigerians during his presidential campaign that...it's my turn

Re: Shoprite to shut down Abuja Branch On June 30 Due To Current Economic Realities by ufotunang: 11:06pm On Jun 24, 2024
If it was Peter obi that was the one in power that has the plans and mindset and economic plans of turning Nigeria to a producing economy all these supermarket, industries companies will have been thriving and excelling and expanding and more foreign investors would had troop into the country .
It's a pity renewed shege everywhere

I know how much i spend alone when I’m around …Water Juice everything they will deliver with multiple bikes if needed. Foodco foods can’t match ShopRite and their breads but due to convenience I settle for FoodCo. I am shocked ShopRite has not created an app, WhatsApp number and liase with lots of bikes on that axis.

I’ve noticed that some issues are based on how businesses are managed not necessarily the nation’s environment. I rent out of Nigeria and i don’t have owing tenants going 3+ yrs. Took over the management directly almost 2yrs now and I’ve been less stressed than having a useless manager that thinks he is doing you a favor. I am even thinking of a YouTube page so I can start advising people on how to reinvent their businesses

delpee:
True. Foodco app was so helpful during the COVID lockdown even here in Lagos. The staff were responsive and courteous. Prompt delivery too.

Yes..Shoprite meals at the Ring Rd branch are quite good. At least as at the last time I visited which is months ago.

Hope the store owners/staff are reading the reviews.

The question now is, who national anthem help?
Last week I went to the bank, I said the new old national anthem and behold I was given 1m naira cash. The name of the bank is Tinubu bank.
