Fg should use executives order to pass the new minimum wage. Labour, states and private sectors can continue dragging themselves If there are states in Nigeria still paying N18k as minimum wage which this Labour Union couldn't do a Jack about, why should they be still proposing N250k if they are indeed serious with the negotiations |

Nigerian government is a joke how can you conclude on minimum wage and send the bill to national assembly when the other party are still dragging feets on what they went., If Tinubu Sends The bill to the national assembly without both parties coming to a consensus then he doesn't understand governance. He's more or less a draconian leader, and the could have effect on his re-election |

Tinubu not interested in anybodys pain. Instead of adding money to workers he may still add more tax to people who are already starving. Nigerian customs are daily smiling to the bank due to high tax. Electric distribution companies have channels their allocation of power to band A to harvest more cash as other band remain in darkness. |

Its now i no that you lack wisdom, have you ever ask yourself that, what if they do it, what will labour do? If there is no labour, there will be no workforce, and there will be no money for anything. So if they do it, there will be total shut down, the GDP will go down. My guy at least have sense. |

Everything about this administration is "may", nothing is certain "Dangote refinery may..." "Lagos-Calabar coastal road may..." "Portharcourt refinery may..." "Minimum wage may..." "The Federal Government may...." "The student loan may..." |

Paraman:Yes, any state that cannot afford minimum wage should not be in business. A viable state should be able to afford non-slave wages. Any thing less than that is a state that does not even need to exist or a governor that needs to be removed from office. ![]() |

helinues:Mr. Man, when we say you people don't really understand governance, we are not just saying it to malign you guys but just the truth spoken. Federal Executive Order cannot work on state, it can only work on federal government parastatal under the purview of the federal government. States are not appendage of the federal government. This is a matter of law. Mr. President must see that the minimum wage act is passed into law by the National Assembly, then, it would be binding all all sectors of government both federal, state, local government and private sector inclusive. Executive Order cannot work in matter that requires law to be passed and assented to, this is what will stand judicial scrutiny and not an order. Do you know how many executive orders that courts have voided because it goes against the constitution? Please pipe low and let the FG do the needful and stop introducing what is not just to appear right. |
