Electronic tools for the Nigerian presidential election could resolve many issues in the electoral process, yet the government remains hesitant. What do you guys think about this tools in relation to Nigerian electoral system?

Remember this tools will make sure their is fairer voting processes, quicker results, and increased voter confidence.

When it comes to Nigeria INEC will render it useless. Someone is making money from the building, educating or whatever it has to offer.

And we keep wallowing in deceit. Chosen the wrong candidates that set the country 20 years backward.

Many voters don't trust INEC because INEC isn't truly independent. Since there's lack of trust, what will work in Nigeria is for people to gather, vote and count their votes themselves.

Afterwards, the results are sent to a central database/result tracking system in real time. People can watch these figures as they are being uploaded from various wards... without going to any LGA or state collation centre because results can be changed there.

They must first legislate the use of all those electronic devices, otherwise it is another INEC rigging plan.

The thing is let the National assembly accept the use of full electronics voting system as it done in other countries. They will likely reject this proposal because the current one is favoring their political games.

I don't believe in Nigeria INEC with what happened in 2023

And is why they will reject this proposal. Anything that intend to stop fraudulent activities in this country never saw the light of the day.

Good upgrade but serious security system should be implemented in support to debar breaches and hacking, even if that requires using a reliable and renowned third party client（s）. We must return people's confidence back to our electoral system, bodies and processions. Enough of STOLEN MANDATE PROPAGANDA, POLLING BOOTH THEFT, OVER VOTING and UNDER-AGE VOTING.


PS： Provision should also be made to get the system available and efficient at all polling units, whether in the most remote urban or rural areas.

We need to end ward and local government ward collection of results thats where rigging takes place

Upload results from the polling unit or cancel the election at the polling unit

This innovation of electronic balloting will come as plan B while manual voting, collation, sorting & counting of results will still continue to exist in case E-voting fail to deliver. Nigeria has not come of age to depend totally on E-voting. The process may run simultaneously both manual & E voting to achieve good results comes 2027 election.

The only Manual will just be human workers monitoring and making sure this electronics machine work accordingly
