Great move by His Excellency Peter Obi. Labour Party needs to unite Asap in order to work on the real battle:

TO UNITE WITH PDP, NNPP AND OTHER OPPOSITION PARTIES, GRAB SOME APC SENATORS, REPS AND GOVERNORS, AND IMPEACH THE TINIBU GOVERNMENT BEFORE END OF YEAR.

If only the opposition parties know the powers that they have against Tinibu’s Inec, army, judiciary, touts etc.
Maybe when Pigs can fly.

Fire4fireNL:
Abure's fate as the National Chairman of LP is currently hanging in the hands of NEC, Obi, and Otti... wonderful.

Two things are involved here.

First, if Obi and co decides Abure should go, he (Abure) will burn down both the house (party) and it's occupant (aspirants). The Abure of a guy is desperate. He sure looks like someone that won't go quietly. That is when we will know what exactly happened to all the campaing funds... Don't forget, they talked about auditing their campaign finances. It's almost 18 months after the last election, and almost 30 months to the next election, when will they release how campaing finance was spent? Accountability should be the key word of a party looking to lead the country. We have had transparency and accountability issues with past administrations. If we are going to trust LP with our national purse, they should start by now showing us how they intend to lead the country. What are they going to do different from past administrations of PDP and APC?

Secondly, if Obi and co decides Abure should stay, what message are they passing to Nigerians? Abure has so many baggage to deal with. Fraud and forgery are felony offense. If the party should retain him as the chairman, then LP members and supporters don't have the moral right to criticize the PDP and APC. They are all the same. Just like we have Ganduje as the APC chairman, and PDP at a time had Modu Sherrif as it's chairman...

I think the coming days are going to be really interesting.

Comrades, grab a chair, relax, and enjoy the movie..... but how person wan take relax for this Tinubu regime sef.... everywhere dey hot...
Abeg make we go hustle and leave politicians to do their thing... all politicians are the same... from America to Asia, to Africa, etc.
They don't born pethief OBI well to show ABURE way out !
If he does,ABURE too will expose the dirty deals and bribery that took place to make sure pethief OBI became presidential Canidate of the party within a month of joining the party

Why not put number to the GDP? Where did he met it, what is it now?, Infrastructure? Which Infrastructure?, corruption ? What was the corruption perception index he met and what is it now?

How is diaspora remittance an achievement of government?

Have you followed the stories of top APC members, with regards to cases of fraud and embezzlement of public funds? Have you forgotten that the present chairman and the one before him have been accused of corruptly enriching themselves?

Have you not read how Obi called for a forensic auditing of the accounts of LP? Have you not read of how the campaign funds were audited and accounted for? Please read wide and seek information.

What we demand is a just and equitable nation. We are asking for a decent society, with proper infrastructures to make life livable for all. We ask for accountability and not rogues, who loot public funds and ask us to be patient. They are found in all the parties. Let’s get the right people into positions of power, using our PVCs and have respectable country.

President Tinubu has prioritised national security, leading to significant investments in modernising and equipping the nation’s security forces. Over 4,600 hostages have been freed, more than 9,300 hostiles neutralized, and over 7,000 terrorists and bandits arrested. Establishing the N50 billion Pulako Initiative and annually recruiting 30,000 new police personnel further underscore the administration’s commitment to a safer Nigeria.

Establishing the N50 billion Pulako Initiative and annually recruiting 30,000 new police personnel further underscore the administration’s commitment to a safer Nigeria.

To tackle food security, the administration declared a state of emergency and launched the National Agricultural Development Fund with N100 billion. Initiatives like the Dry Season Farming Initiative and the Green Imperative Programme aim to promote year-round farming and provide farmers with access to modern equipment and low-interest loans, ensuring a stable food supply

The Renewed Hope Agenda focuses on developing renewable energy sources and enhancing the efficiency of the oil and gas sector. Policy directives have improved the investment climate, increased crude oil and NLNG production, and initiated significant projects like rehabilitating the Port Harcourt refinery and constructing the Ajaokuta-Abuja-Kano Gas Pipeline.

Significant investments in infrastructure are underway, including operationalising the Port Harcourt-Aba rail line and constructing the Lagos-Calabar Super Highway. The Renewed Hope Infrastructure Development Fund aims to raise N20 trillion to deliver critical projects and modernise ports and aviation facilities, creating an enabling environment for businesses.

The administration is expanding primary health centres and upgrading tertiary hospitals, ensuring better access to healthcare. The Student Loans Act 2024 and the establishment of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund highlight a commitment to broadening access to education. Social welfare schemes, including cash transfers and microcredit programmes, aim to uplift vulnerable households and support small businesses.

Recognising the youth as invaluable assets, the administration has launched initiatives like the Three Million Technical Talent Initiative and the iDICE Programme to empower young Nigerians with digital skills. The National Job Centre and the National Talent Programme aim to create employment opportunities and support youth-owned enterprises.

To enhance service delivery, the administration has introduced the MOBILIZER app for citizen engagement and launched the Citizens’ Delivery Tracker App to assess public officials’ performance. Reforms recommended by the Oronsaye Report aim to rationalise and restructure government agencies, increasing transparency and efficiency.
