If they are provide efficient and adequate security I might be interested. Look at what happened between Rangers and Eyimba match . And you expect someone like me to go and watch a match in that kinda stadium.

But are they ready to develop ? Back in the late 80's and early 90's our league was doing well . People like MKO and others were financially supporting them .
I expected it to have improved more than that by now. Instead it is still crawling like snail.

Nothing shameful. We have some foreigners in our league too. Talking about we playing in other African leagues, do u really think it's cos those leagues are much better than ours, hell NO, it's because of our large number of athletes, hope u don't expect all our footballers to sit back at home and be clubless, they have to play anywhere.

Nationals of even developed leagues in Europe still play outside their own leagues.

Rome wasn't built in a day, we will get there someday.

The teams will not do well on the continent if the league commences late. They would be match rusty if the league fails to commence early enough. This has been the reason our teams are not doing well on the continent.

North African teams do well on the continent because their league starts early enough to put the players in top shape. NFF and LMC will do well to commence 2024/25 league in time to put the clubs and players in better shape for the continental assault when it resumes.

The era of High Chief Gaius Obaseki saw the resurgence of club on the continent. The league was properly managed. And no wonder four Nigerian clubs qualified for the group stages of CAF Champion league and CAF confederation Cup in 2009. Heartland and Kano Pillars played in the semifinals of CAF Champions league same year but were unable to make it to finals. That was when Nigerian football was at its zenith.

Unlike present era of Ibrahim Gusau as NFF chairman where there are no timetables for the commencement of the league. Sometimes,it kicks off when Nigerian teams have been eliminated from preliminary stages of the competition.
