probably you don't understand how democracy works.
you have the chance to elect bodies to represent you at several level, you go through their profile and finally elect them in the end now your asking if they made consultation with the masses at first.

see if you want to be swimming in your sadism, I can ignore you very easily.
criticism is very easy but understanding the problem isn't.
