What Is The Future Of African Continent If They Can’t Run It Without Borrowing? by Bullfallo(op): 12:04am On Jun 30, 2024
Its very clear that Africans can nor longer forge ahead or run their annual budget without borrowing. For how long will they continue to borrow?. We are not at war yet we are borrowing like a country fighting war from all fronts. Civilization and modernization have consequences. Habe we gotten to the peak where African need to collapse to restart from stage age once again?

Look at what is happening in Kenya. Economy crisis and debts. Similar things to all over Africa.

Everyone borrows, almost every country borrows. There no such thing as being financially sufficient all the time. If you are told what rich countries like USA, Japan, UK and Germany owe, you will be amazed

The difference between them and Nigeria is that they borrow for reasons that will enable them pay back

Nigeria borrows for reasons that will not pay back

How did Gaddafi of Libya manage to have zero debt until his death? It's understandable for countries with no resources to borrow. What happens now to countries with abundant resources?

How many times have you seen Afghanistan going to borrow. We need to look inwards. Grow what we eat and consume what we produce even made in Nigerian cars. The problem is we are obsessed with western Goods.

Do you know the Afghanistan’s repaired every single military hardware left behind including helicopters. And another thing because they did not buy things from abroad their currency is the strongest in South East Asia.

Incurring huge debts to do projects that cannot repay the debt. Very sad.

''The Taliban's recapture of Afghanistan in August 2021 has had dire economic, political, and security consequences. With the world's lowest living standards, Afghanistan is experiencing ongoing economic, health, and humanitarian crises, and food insecurity is especially acute.''

Somebody needs to haul you and your ilk off to Afghanistan, so you can enjoy that Paradise that you see there.

You can even pass through Somalia to get the full enjoyment.

What abundant resources does Nigeria have relative to it's large population? Borrowing is ok as long as it is invested into money making ventures to enable it's repayment. Taxes are meant for running recurrent expenditure. How many Nigerians pay taxes?

Africa is in dire need of civilisation and modernisation. There has never been a better point in human history. Modern society has its faults just like any other time in history. There is no utopia.
Tradition and Nostalgia have gotten Africa NOWHERE.
