When I said he's a grassroots politician, some people here deferred. By the way, it's always very difficult for someone outside binis(edo natives) to be governor in edo state. You are correct for the second time about Phillip popularity.he is the second most popular in Edo north after oshiomhole.Akpata might win Edo south but his undoing will be central and north.his best bet will be getting the highest votes and forcing a runoff

Which Akpata? He is not in the reckoning. LP has no hope of ever winning any election anymore in Edo State. The LP glow in Nigeria is gone and gone for now, except maybe in the SE during presido election.
