Kobojunkie:So the case is not in court? lol! I think the point you wanted to make is, his crime doesn't warrant treason, but you will be wrong. I don't have time for this, whatever you think, he is still in DSS cell, and there's nothing that will change that, I mean he is lucky, if in other country, they would have handed him to the army he so despised and ordered to be killed by his minors, all this story of fundamental human rights will be stories for the gods. |

Morbeta11:I respect Abaribe alot, but I'm seriously disappointed with this his statement. It's very much uncalled for. On what condition was Sunday Igboho released? Which of the Yoruba leaders have come out to speak about his freedom. Why don't you allow the negotiation to go without the public know what transpired? This is what I hate about some Igbo leaders, using the pain of their brothers to shine. Too bad. |

Seun362:If Nigeria continues to retrogress it equally means the future of your region also continues to regress with it. Your tribe/ethnic group which you pretend to care so much more will continue to lose out on opportunities to advance itself and move forward with the rest of the world. That is like drinking poison pretending you harm others by doing so. 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁 |

hopexter:Kanu should stay in detention as long as possible. In fact t, let him stay there until Biafra is actualized either by referendum or otherwise. It's his calling and it's his destiny. Just like how Nelson Mandela Was incarcerated until south Africa gained freedom so will nnamdi kanu be locked up till his people are free. Those two men are legends, one already and one in the making. |

sparko1:Being in court is one thing; being in detention is something else entirely. If you read the law, a person on trial does not need to be in detention during all of that. He can equally come from home to his case when he needs to be especially since he has, to date, not been formally charged with any actual crimes requiring his detention. ![]() Again, you cannot call for illegal acts to be used in the process of obtaining justice. That is counterintuitive and only serves to belittle your very constitution. Even criminals have rights... yes, it is stated in your constitution that every Nigerian has rights that ought to be respected. This man has yet to be convicted of any actual crimes; his rights ought to be respected the same as yours. ![]() |

Revealpanda:Una dunn start chestbeating again. He is a ant for government to handle but they just want to prove to him that he is a dot in circle. Military are know for that kind of treatment. If he is freed today, people like you will still be boasting that government can't do him anything, when it is obvious all your major leaders has been begging the government from Buhari time to Tinubu now. If you people were bold, immediately his arrest you could have cause problems in Nigeria but his ipob members only succeed in killing you people. With the suffer he went through and knowing you people couldn't fight the government to standstill, when release he won't dere talk of Biafra again when he knows he has many cowards cheering him before. |

Nnamdi Kanu should not be released on pardon, but fast-track the court judgment to determine if he's guilty or not. I hate when I was being pitied instead of getting justice on my own... I don't know for others sha |

Abbeytoy:They are not trying to get justice; all your government has done to date has been to illegally detain a Nigerian citizen, against the Nigerian Constitution. Section 35 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria |

bixton:If you want justice for them then seek it by way of the law, not call for the blatant violation of your very own Constitution in order to arrive at what you then pretend would be justice to your private taste. Section 35 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria |

Kobojunkie:Education is wasted on you, once you jump your bail, you will never be granted bail, in his case, he even went back the crime he was charged. Nigeria government are certainly too lenient, mostly because of election, they want to get some vote from his region. Ask Soyika, Obasanjo, those guys didn't even incite anyone, they only spoke against the government and was locked up for years. |
| Re: Nnamdi Kanu Agrees To Comply With Tinubu Government's Terms Of Release by Abbeytoy(m): 9:21pm On Jul 03, 2024 |
Kobojunkie:According to the document in circulation, Nnamdi Kanu was indeed illegally detained against court rule for just some days until supreme court rule against him and that was during Buhari's tenure. But right now, he was legally detained. I don't have anything against him or anyone, I just prefer he get the right justice than pardon and be subjected to the government tools. |

Abbeytoy:Pardon for what? Currently, your government has yet to convict him of any actual crimes that require his detention. if anyone needs to be pardoned in this case, it is your government for illegally detaining the man. The ones in contempt of your very Law in Nigeria are your own government here. So? ![]() |

LOVEALAIGBO:you people boasted too much, empty vessels. Before his arrest, you all were making a lot of noise that if arrested that will be the end of Nigeria. Instead what we are now seeing is gradual end of south east. Una no get any single liver. A typical Igbo is know for empty treat. Many in my area then in Benin after noise when matter sup, you see them forming peace talk. He was arrested and bungled like a thief to Nigeria and you people could not do anything. I was shocked after all the boast from this platform about Nigeria will end if he was arrested but last month made it three years in detention and nobody cough. Online warriors. He must agree to the term and the way he has suffered when release he will move to Uk as a citizen and enjoy the remaining cash he made from donations by his blind and foolish followers. |

Kobojunkie:Your leaders are the ones asking for pardon and not me. He was not illegally detained but under trial. The last time he was released on bail, he jumped bail before he was rearrested and I believe that's what the government is guiding against... They don't want some army to attack him again and use that excuse to run away. |

Revealpanda:Which higher destiny? I guess this is to encourage yourselves. And by the way, who told you Tinubu would release him? Are we talking of the same Tinubu he ordered his miscreants in Lagos to kill? I know Nnamdi Kanu never knew that a day like this would come when he would be begging Tinubu that he ordered his miscreants in Lagos to burn down his properties and Lagos BRT buses. |

LOVEALAIGBO:They didn't want to. Nigerian government and Kenyan authorities have a mutual understanding so if they wanted to kill him, it would have been very easy. They would have killed him and the Kenyan authorities would cover up for Nigeria. They would even attribute it to armed robbery and even provide false evidence at the site of the crime. |
