I am not a legal practitioner and I know little or nothing about his trial, but if I enter to read the case, we might argue for the next 2 years while he'll still not be released until proven innocent. So as of now, the Supreme Court has yet to grant him bail, which no person no matter the emotions can change else the president will give a pardon.

Well, he was not present at the court when he was needed and claimed some people attacked his house reason he flew and hid until he was rearrested in Kenya or so... All these are just an excuse and do not hold water in the court of law.
