A case they are sure to lose because it was at this FHC they tendered the defection affidavit and that of PDP saying they had left.. 😂.. bro, this matter go long..
A court ruled that they are still PDP members

Has that ruling been vacated?

So you all thought Fubara didn’t know the FHC has jurisdiction over the case only ! They wanted to impeach him he had to stop them and cause a problem to push them out thus using the state high court temporarily before approaching the Supreme Court . He knows how long this will take .The appeal court never instructed him to recognize the 24 law makers on legality .they only said he should take it to a FHC .. The 24 ousted law makers will continue to remain outside till the court of jurisdiction decides until it gets to Supreme Court . The 24 law makers no better than to celebrate until then .
👍

I still insist that you're stupid. Keep your silly old age in your house and if you want to wear it like a badge of honor, go find your mates to play draught with. My father will not be found on a decrepit forum like NL. He is too self-respecting to do that. I suggest you borrow such leaf.
Idiot.
You can insist all you like

Well, legislature cannot impeach a gov all by themselves.
Secondly, Fubara does not need PDP to back him to declare legislative seats vacant.
He just needs a willing FHC judge
Same FHC that the Law Makers already won a case there with Justice Omotosho or so in January?

There is no where to hide here...The Governor should use carrot stick approach and try and get the lawmakers to his side.

..and mark you, the lawmakers can actually impeach him...he will be the one to start fighting the legality of the process at the courts...but then, he will be out of office by then

Anybody who want to succeed political should not accept Obidients support. They mix emotion with reality. We told them. The moment the Pdp national working committee led by the acting national chairman denied their defections, I know Wike already have upper hand. If Fubara was wise he should have known that with the party supporting Wike then he will lose the judgement. Everything is not fighting but wisdom. He may not be impeached but he will be messed up. The assembly will revert all actions he has done before. Wike has many of the rivers elders supporting him too. Almost the federal lawmakers and state lawmakers are with him and fubara was fighting him, how do you win the fight. I don't say he shouldn't have fight Wike but it was just to early without getting kingmakers in rivers and federal to your side politically. He will now be mandated to represent the budget again against his wish forcefully.

When did the FHC validate the defection of the lawmakers? I'm interested in that.
You can't use carrot and stick for people who don't want to have anything to do with you.

Read up on our laws. The lawmakers can't unilaterally impeach a gov. It's clear as day. But we never know in Nigeria

The Nigerian judiciary should be shut down. The whole system has been hijacked by bad politicians bent on turning the law on its head. The constitution is clear on the defection of elected officials, our judiciary is actually very stupid.

God will punish all of them and their supporters.

But where exactly in the judgement does it say Amawhule should remain speaker? Or Is the op trying to be disingenuous?
I GUESS WHEN IT FAVOURED FUBARA THEN JUDICIARY WAS NOT HIJACKED.

You can brag all you want. Reality is that:
1. My father can't meet you on the streets of NL cause he doesn't roll with his children's mates. He has enough self-respect and common sense to know where he should and shouldn't be.

2. You sir, remain very stupid.

Nothing de happen, we go wait for supreme Court, let's see how they will win, the appeal courts on rule on jurisdiction and not the defection, they will wait until supreme Court rules before they can know if they're members or not.

I'm a Wike Fan as FCT Minister but his arrogance and disrespect for his Governor should not be Tolerated.
I blame the Mumu NGF.
When he was minister under Jonathan when he was embarrassing Ameachi the then governor and even using the then commissioner of police, were you not supporting Wike then. You never condemned him but rather crucifying Ameachi just because he was supporting Buhari and also fighting for his political life. You can't blame NGF, rather blame pdp cos the national chairman was the one who made it so easy for wike to have upper hand by saying the assembly members are still a pdp members. Otapiapia you people used to chide wike, is it not working again, abi Fubara drink am.

Don't mind these kids. I believe fubara camp simply used this to buy time. Everyone knew from the start the SHC lacks jurisdiction. It was to shorten the time that the Amaewhule group quickly approached the AC and requested for it to take over the case from the SHC.

But is there really any pending case on the defection before an FHC?

For me, I find it amusing that people lose their senses all because of politics which they ultimately gain nothing from. Did those clowns defect? It is clear as day! Are they trying to walk back their defection? Very clearly yes!
So what is it with all these clowns trying to paint white black for some 27 lawbreakers who are only after their selfish interest?

It was when a FHC recognises Martins as speaker and told the Governor not to interfere in legislative functions

The best solution now is to bring down your opponents.
I expected Fubara to have roped those yeye Ex-chair and legislooters with sponsoring terrorism and insurrection and also demolish Wikes Choiced properties all over Rivers state.
Ijaw men in politics don’t have that liver. Edo men seem to have that liver more than them. Obaseki did exactly that to Oshiomole. Demolished all his properties and made sure he didn’t step an inch foot into Edo state for almost 3 years.

Ijaw men are very weak in politics. Look at Fubara, look at GEJ, another Ijaw man that cant remove INEC Chairman who has attained compulsory retirement age just because it is few months to election.

Ijaw men in politics lack liver ! They are only strong when it comes to oil bunkering.

Fubara and Gej have taught me Ijaw men in politics are chickens and push overs.

I respect Edo men and Kano men in that regard.

Omotosho of the FHC gave a restraining order barring their seats from being declared vacant after amaewhule and PDP had submitted documents showing they had truly defected. This was in January this year at the height of their madness when they were fully convinced by wike they wouldn't lose their seats. Martins having realised later that it was a blunder is now trying to claim they never defected but they will surely lose their case if omotoshos judgement is appealed against.
