Pdp tried by clearing the country's debt. Pdp regime had the highest external reserve ever. Google it. Naira was steady against the dollars during the 16 years of pdp. Naira never went beyond 200 to $. Google it. Bag or rice was 8k in 2014 during pdp govt. Google it.So don't just compare the two. undecided undecided

He said members of the council from the private and public sectors would sit regularly to advise the government on the kind of policies that government should roll out.
“Most of these things, we have them, there are already been discussed over and over again, it is a matter of implementation. I think the choice of people that are on the PECC, they are good enough to be able to advise government on how to implement the policies,” said Dangote, who is Africa’s richest man.
“The private sector will do its own bit which is to invest heavily and create jobs. Government don’t really create jobs, what they do is to give us the right policies. We have all these policies.
“I keep saying our issues are not that bad, this economy can be turned around within few months and I think we are on that way. I thank the President for inaugurating this Council.
“We will start working immediately and I can assure you (that) you will see a lot of changes coming. We have what it takes to turn around this economy. We are going to work hard to make Nigerians proud.”
These are lies! This man is looking out for number 1 and that is himself. He cares little about the Nigerian people or their economic situation in all of this. If you want proof, look at his track record to see this for yourself. He is simply making these statements to encourage policies be created for his own good by the government in all of this. undecided

He is a business man yet what is missing is a track record to show he in fact cares about the Nigerian economy and the people he pretends to speak about. Come on! undecided

I think this govt is a bit under pressure. If it can be turned around, then Tinubu will go down in history as the best president. But the question is, can things be turned around? Per capita income and inflation rate.

Dangote should respectfully withdraw himself from the political theatre of folly.

Bismarck Rewane: seasoned economist but a Shylock, merchant of Venice. He played this same role in the previous administration and has been invited for a remake like the aso-wood actor that he is.

Elumelu: one for the lackey… corny and shrewd. As stated by Otedola. His ambition knows no bounds.

Mr Wale Edun: do the honorable thing and resign your position if the politicians wouldn’t heed to your advice. The rejig we need isn’t alien to us, it a lack of willingness on the part of the politicians and you know this. Why soil your name?

How about solving the logistics debacle by having railway across the region for cargo? Freight by road is very expensive and unsafe.
Also, invest in electricity and railway for transit and see Nigeria come alive.
For security, get surveillance drones to watch hot areas, get perimeter radars all over the north, middle belt and SW. Nigeria is too small for the level of mysticism we allude to these bandits.

Slash state funds and divert it into renewable energy. Solar farms up north, dams in the middle belt, windmills and geothermal in the south.

It can be a PPP so the govt doesn’t shoulder the cost alone.
They knows these things but it ready to do that so they can easily control the masses

Nigerians sufferings is win win sometimes to out politicians

✓ They charge high fees for supplying darkness and called it electricity

✓ They make money from sales of fuel, more than 20% of fuel consumption (diesel and petrol) goes to generating sets but if if we have stable power supply, that revenue will be blocked

✓ Making money from customs duties on importing generating sets and spare parts which we buy from time to time

And so on

I believe Nigeria will be better one day but we hope our leaders do the right thing quickly

Dangote should just shut up and monopolize the country business system. The country is for all of us but it’s beginning to be clearer that the more we shun tribalism (not even religion) the more we make lives better for all us. I guess the government of the day isn’t dancing to his tunes now. We just Dey start.

He said what Nigeria is battling with is inflation and when there is inflation, government should curb his revenue drastically and increase the expenditure to balance the economy
