Peter Obi will soon criticise government but will never criticise importers of fake and substandard building materials.

Cutting corners when building is a disaster in the making. It is better not starting the project in the first place.

If you need a shrink pls find one as soon as possible before you commit an abomination, with this your line of thinking.

I was in Dede market in Abuja few weeks back to do a feasibility study for Qatar steel company that want to exploring Nigeria market. I discovered a lot of rot in the building material markets that responsible for most of building collapse.
Whe you request for 1.5mm, what you get is 0.9mm etc.
we should bring back the guillotine for evil contracts such as these.

Hmmm... Sometimes ago, I read a man using bamboo to replace steel rods while flooring a upstairs... My God save us🙏
that particular building will never fail....you don't know the strength of bamboo. You don't know why they use bamboo sticks to support suspended floor slabs(decking) during construction.

I was there live. It's terrible. Very traumatic. May God help me to heal. I wept like a baby, when four dead labourers were brought out of the rubbles

No matter the strength of bamboo, it remains biodegradable (if you understand what that means). Deterioration and failure of biodegradable materials is not question of "if" but "when" it will eventually fail. Bamboo strength can be reliable for temporary strength reliance.

This is tinubu's fault, if cement was cheaper the engineer wouldn't have built substandard
Was it built in the last 1 Yr to be blamef on Tinubu?

You build according to what you can afford for now and continue later That is what a professional does.

I'm sure if you check it out, a non-engineer was in charge of the building who preferred to cut corners to make more money .

So this Igbo developer from Anambra does not know that or you are just being foolish ? He does not know he will need like 2.5 mm to get his 1 5mm or is it not the same market other decelopers are buying from

How old is Cocoa House and Femi Johnson's Glass House in Ibadan? As you can observe by yourself, that rod has to cement stick on its body, so, cement was managed in a very stupid manner
They like to build plenty story buildings out of greed, so they can have 1,000 tenants.

Everything wasted can build a solid bungalow but greed will not allow them to do that.
You are very right, plus imagine 4 story building with little ventilation and no parking space, most new landlords of today are just too greedy

They will need to clear the fabrics now, then start all over again? Apologizing with a long letter for not being able to make a correct statement. What if he had built a bungalow?

I know the glass house was completed in the 80's and it's only 12 stories.
