Niko Omilana has mocked Rishi Sunak with a loser sign as the former Prime Minister wins his Northallerton seat.

The YouTuber, who boasts 7.49 million followers online, was donning a pair of children sunglasses as the speaker announced he had won 160 votes in the battle for the Richmond in North Yorkshire seat.

However, as Mr Sunak who was re-elected as MP took to the stand to make his victory speech, the prankster pulled out a piece of paper with a giant L on it.

He could be seen visible moving behind the ex-PM to ensure his sign would be caught in the camera shots, as the conservative leader conceded the election to Labour.
