I have a friend working there already and the salary is good with other bonuses. Don't let anyone discourage you.

Humans can be difficult, i remembered he was acting as if his life depends on FIRS, like a birthright, if any info about FIRS isn't from him then its not legit, if you get to NNPC or CBN you'll be disappointed also, people want to start working today and live the life of a director they know in their locality working in that agency, life is about contentment everywhere you're, and so as long as its a FG job, you'll certainly grow! No place in government agency has an armed robbery salary for a start. And I'll say it again most salaries quoted here are exaggerated, listen to those who work there or have siblings there coz not all friends will even show you their payslip or tell the real truth. May we be guided. FIRS IS NOT A BAD PLACE either

Why misleading on something you don't know.

The new chairman reviewed and brought back all bonuses and upfront allowances.

In terms of promotion 3-4 years per each rank.
As the grading level is not much.

New entry staffs are given Level 10 and it reads downwards to level 1 which is the FIRS chairman.

4 years × 8 that's 32 years. Not everyone will make it to level 2 and 1 that's the superiority there.

Years of service is 35 years.
If you have Age on your side surely you shall rise to the highest rank.

Wai Training of Staff is Zero. Walahi you no well. The training they are conducting for Thier staffs with bonuses given for training is a joke to you? Because you no get hope of getting there no mean say you go dey write rubbish

I can remember when they were telling this guy the truth but na coconut head he get, arguing blindly and trying to dampen down anybody’s effort to pursue firs because na only him get chance for there.
At the time i was just laughing oo because fgs whats there in FIRS that someone will be arrogant about after getting apl and have not even resumed??

At the time you were thinking like FIRS is the best thing after sliced bread now reality check don hit hard.


Not everyone is jobless here, some of us are already working in places at par with firs or even better some of us are working with less fortuned mda and still looking for upgrade.
Everybody got his reason why he is here, be humble, be diplomatic, and God will provide for you.

I am not discouraging anyone I am only telling you to low your expectations as you get in and accept what you see.

I have a job I am currently doing but I am hoping to get a job in FIRS as well. And I need to know if it's worth leaving my job for. I am sure a lot of people are like me as well . Hoping to get clarity so as not to regret leaving a promising career. If you can't share it here , can you please respond to your dm then. Thank you

Nothing yet in NCC. It supposed to have happened but there are some technicalities holding it. But be rest assured nothing has happened yet, but soonest. We're hoping, I'm pushing for my sibling.

I'll prefer NCC if I studied ICT related courses while I'll prefer NNPC if I studied anything related to engineering, aside these, the two are great coys and whichever one you find yourself, you're made
