Igbo hangout in Lagos and Ofemmañù were looming hysterical. But they have formed a yoruba party in UK. Sophisticated hypocrites. |

He really tried. 261 votes for a new party formed just few days/ hours to election is a good showing. The word "Yoruba" is a powerful, authentic and positive brand identity. It's the keyword in the identity of the party. Here are Yoruba leaders on the streets of London with the Sage, Pa Awo as far back as 1953 being watched admirably in our Yoruba brand cultural identity. Check my signature for free stuffs!

It's good, same uk brought divide and rule election tactics to Nigeria political sphere, let them yorubalize or introduce a tribalism politics into UK too. |

This same people who voted massively for failures back to back have taken their foolishness abroad. I reject UK never going there. These people voted a clown dancer as a governor, voted an ape for president you people will never seize to amaze me. I must boycott Yoruba's and Nigerians even if it kills me for the sake of my unborn children. |

Newlymarried:What do you expect, with the performance of Tinubu you want another Yoruba again in the UK 😂 they would run far before they bring upgraded hardship in peckham |

It's a bad precedent to export primitive tribal sentiment from Africa to the UK. What could have been the possible reason naming a party after a particular tribe if it isn't to get sentiment votes based on tribe. Even if it's Indian party or Calabar party, it will still be a thousand times very wrong. |

If only Yakubu led Inec was there.. He would have been declared winner, and tribunal and Supreme Court will cement it.. |

Naming it Yoruba party only calls for sentimental votes. This is tribal to say the least. He doesn't care about the people of peckham, he thinks he's still in Ogbomosho where he only represents a minor set of people. Just form a party in Lagos and Name it IGBO party and watch how everyone on that party will be crucified even if they made Wole Soyinka Chairman of the party and chose Saheed Osupa as their Governorship candidate. ![]() I ask again... Will an Igbo Man be allowed to contest in a Yoruba Party? ![]() |

Yoruba Party ke? something they will not allow other tribes to do in Lagos and SW. How dare he? Did the British ask him if he can speak their language or where his mother came from? |
| Re: Nigeria Man Loses On Yoruba Party Election In Peckham UK by aviara: 4:05pm On Jul 05, 2024 |
Party names usually reflect what the party stands for and represents. There are countless credible names to Christine a party such as : Wisdom party Light party Labour party Virtue party Progress party Visionary party Competent party etc Yoruba party is absurd and shows the narrowness of the promoters of that party. |
